Great question Chaitram. Here is a direct link to the Guyana Revenue Authority, that proves most helpful. www.gra.gov.gy/tax-services/property-tax/rates-and-calculation/. Please like and share with others.
You should start your range from 80,000 and up. Additionally, landlords will expect you to pay for your own light bill, usually install a meter for that purpose. You are unlikely to find anything less than that rent during these times.
Here is a sampling of the rental market. facebook.com/groups/1089554774424735/permalink/6491098407603651/?sale_post_id=6491098407603651&mibextid=Nif5oz
I wouldn’t retire in Guyana. Reason, the healthcare system. Even the private hospitals are horrible. My grandfather went into Balwan hospital and came out worse. He came out with bed sores and urinary tract infection. He leg become so stiff he couldn’t walk anymore. That’s the only reason for me because once you get to be a senior you need good healthcare.
the different part of Guyana cost of living is going to be different I haven't seen no one else make a video of what it really cost to live in this country so still looking on that.

Am a older woman age 65 and want to move over seas because the food here has made me develop a condition call gastritis. A stomach disorder. Could you tell me about the food there is the food organic and locally grown? Thank you.
Guyana has a vast array of root vegetables that are organic. Most of thr local farmers do not use additives or pesticides. The fruit likewise. Guyana is renowned for its papaya, pineapple, watermelon, mangoes and sorrel fruit, just to name a few. As well as spinach, bora, plaintain, Pak Choi, cassava. Hope this helps.
