I work with epilepsy and brain signals, this is the only video that actually explains it in a understandible manner. THANKYOU

Watching spectrograms is a personal obsession of mine, and I've always felt that teaching children to understand them was just as important as teaching musical notation. I'm very happy to see you guys are putting together some videos on this! I'll definitely pass it along to my teacher friends.

My favorite visualizer, I would like to have a dedicated screen on my wall for it. Also fun to do the opposite process with programs like AudioPaint to convert pictures to sound and back again with the spectrogram.

I use spectrogram to see the whole images of objects cars, trains, animals etc.
I have also used it to capture an image of a human skeleton by coughing at a wall and seeing the reflected image on my tablet.

I use this to analyze the bird calls and songs I record. It's very helpful especially in spotting blind spots and new sounds.

❤ The interesting thing for me was hearing more things vibrate at more than one speed per second.
AaaaaaaAaa vs the whistle. 1:15-1:20 minutes mark.❤❤❤
That explains the whole thing for me

Thanks for making this. I have always wondered how to read these things. I'm under the impression that one would use a spectrometer to determine where the empty spaces are in a mix in order to blend instruments yet maintain their maximum individuality?

Sir how harmonics are produced by the vocal folds at the same time
Vocal folds vibrate at specific frequency right I,e single frequency
Then where do all harmonics come from

Is there any software available that gives us the frequencies being played at each interval of time in a tabular format??

I am doing a project on detecting depression from a person's speech. And for this we analyze the spectrograms. Do you have any idea on software that produces spectrograms in real-time or near real-time?

I created an alternative spectrogram for this video
    th-cam.com/video/UeaVkoZe-0M/w-d-xo.html
    Using my own non-Fourier method.
I also didn't ask you for permission, please let me know if you mind, I'll delete it.
