Borderlands 4 Predictions Part 1: Characters

- I am so excited to be making predictions videos again and the potential Borderlands 4 has gives me so many fun ideas. As always please leave a comment if you have any ideas you want me to include in a future video. Interesting video idea. An Eridian Guardian becoming a playable character sounds so cool to me because it'll be the first time an alien would be a vault hunter. Most of the Vault hunters are either human or robotic, with the exception being Zer0 since we have no idea what he is. But an alien would be such a great idea.
Really like the concept for these videos, and your ideas are solid! Definitely going to check out the other videos. Just a quick mention, the game volume is overpowering your voice a little bit, may want to tune that slightly. Thanks for the awesome content!
I don't mind the idea of having another Siren as a playable character in BL4 (since sirens in borderlands are kinda like barbarian/warrior class in aRPGs like Diablo) as long as IT IS NOT THE SAME ELEMENTAL SIREN ARCHETYPE ALL OVER AGAIN.

I would love to see some kind of mix between Aurelia and Timothy character like idk Placeholder As the Turbillionaire a character with the ability to turn enemies against their allies by paying them money with his ability as higher level and stronger the enemy is it would cost more and with some skills that gives him the ability to avoid death by paying once per resurrection or something like that it would be very funny having to playing managing your money as a real resource and not just a number that increase without a real use

I've always thought a loader bot style VH would be awesome. Always wanted to see a capstone being you become a ultimate badass loader. They could also add the Claptrap mechanic of being super weak to corrosive but then you could resist fire. Would add another really cool dimension to the game
Unlockable vault hunters with a different story than the main cast
I love the concept of the guardian vh but I gotta disagree on the siren bit, I think every numbered game needs a siren as a core identity feature, I personally wanna see a gloomy vampire inspired siren who inherits Tyreen’s power, or Lilith’s successor or even a new more violent siren based on radiation and explosive elements
Not having a playable siren makes sense, there are only ever 6 at one time, and we have played as 3 of them, and seen 2 others in close detail. the last one we haven't seen in game has the ability to control animals, like Fl4k so if we were to have a playable siren it would be the same gameplay loop as the previous games for those characters. So adding in a guardian or other enemy type that you can play as makes sense. Although, all six different siren powers appearing in Bl4 wouldn't surprise me as they would claim it as something like 'All the sirens need to come together in order to do this one niche thing in the war', even though it would be boring and cliche.
I'd like to see missions where you can pick and play as former characters. You don't have to worry about leveling up or worry about skill trees but you just get to grab them and go complete some stuff. I'd like to play as hammer lock or Marcus, or moxxi just for a little bit. They don't have to be a focal point of the game but just a fun little breath of fresh air.
Honestly the only two Characters I Would like. Is Either a Siren with Tyreens powers. Or a Goliath type character. Kinda of Like the Spies we help on the dinosaur planet. Where the character transforms into a Goliath. Possible that can be changed into different enemy types.
Just had a thought, but what if borderlands 4 starts with the crimson raiders having been disbanded, and you going around the universe meeting the ex members, slowly mends the group back together. In that way we could meet all vault hunters and other members, establish a reletionship with them. and then end on a note with ready for war with the new and improved crimson raiders. that could be a cool concept for a story maybe.
Hey man great video, didn’t even know there was hints at bo4 till you inspired me to check. If I may make a slight suggestion earlier in the video the gameplay was as loud as your voice so it was alittle hard to hear. All in all I think your idea about a guardian would be really cool, i really really loved zains whole teleporting between double really felt like I was dancing circles around enemies. Id love to see something like that in 4 but I won’t hold my breath lol.
I always thought a vault hunter with a flying ability would be cool, but I'm sure the level design would never allow for that.
I understand why you would not want a siren but in the siren lore all sirens tend to be drawn to a wanderlust so it would make sense that they would then hunt vaults. I may be misremembering but I believe sirens have a special drawn to vaults.
To play into the guardian idea, the vault hunter could be like a rogue guardian because he doesn’t agree with the war and wants to fight against it actually and just hunt vaults for fun
I would like to see an alchemist type of character. Some sort of potion mechanic where you could apply different effects and elemental damage stuff to your enemies or using the potion on yourself for different buffs like the candies from halloween dlc in bl2, would be pretty cool i think.
Nice ideas, but I can't wait to play as tales from the Borderlands newest characters.
