Lady D genuinely cared about her daughters despite being striped of all her human morality. Her ambition was focused on avenging her daughters deaths and that detail makes Lady Dimitrescu one of many well written characters for a horror game

Lady Dimitrescu's voice actor should have been given to Mother Miranda. She just sounds more like the voice of a boss. More regal, composed, rich, haughty, etc. Her protest to Miranda's decision sounded more commanding than Miranda's own "SILENCE" later on. By comparison Mother Miranda almost sounds like she would have been one of Lady's daughters.
Miranda should have never been a thing in the first place and Lady D should have been the main Villain. Miranda is a Joke compared to Alcina, the idea that a lady as powerful as Alcina would bow down to Miranda is ridiculous.
It really hurts how she was the first character that was killed off. She had so much potential as a character and I'm just genuinely disappointed there wasn't more to her story. Such a well written character though.

I’m being entirely FUCKING HONEST. I don’t “simp for lady D”, I just really like how one, well written her character is, two, how fucking COOL she is like- damn. She can appear really scary and intimidating whenever she wants to and I find it awesome.
The work put behind this character is A++. The voice acting, the way she carries herself and her attitude, the unique, elegant and memorable character design, the realism. Also I love how they decided to make an attractive female character over the age of 30. Excellent work! 🖤
I think a lot of it was because of how different she is, a shame she dies so early because it could've definitely been a better game if they survived longer.
When she said, that him killing her daughters for his daughter makes him no better person, especially she knows that his daughter is already dead, that made me sad for her.
I think it doesn't make sense as a line and this is why is perfect! Villains aren't aware to be villains, in her own mind she really believes she has the same right to complain about the situation as Ethan has, while completely disregarding SHE is partially why Ethan is there and why he had to kill her daughters to survive. If you actually paid attention to Mother Miranda's story this is heavily not true, lady Dimitrescu would've gone down the same hole of insanity if left alive without her daughters, Miranda's whole thing here is that she has literally raised a town of experimental cattle for the sake of getting her daughter back, it's wrong, it's twisted, but it's definitely born out of emotion and a very deranged love for her daughter. Lady Dimitrescu is a good character but the rest of them are also really fleshed out in terms of lore and character development.

The fact that she said that Ethan was lucky to see her in that form with the only other person to see it being Mother Miranda means she can transform back to her human form. From past resident evil games, most humans who mutate can never revert back to human form but Lady D can.
I just love Lady Dimitrescu! She's so fancy with sipping that wine and smoking that cigarette (and I'm not saying that drinking alcohol and smoking cigarette is somehow fancy or cool, but it gives some classical vibes - especially to a villain). also, it's cool that when she's chasing you, she's casually walking!

6:50 This is actually a pretty great moment. It takes Ethan a second or two to realize what just happened to his hand since the pain hasn't set in yet.
@@aurelia1865 Ethan actually died in RE7 he was murdered by Jack and became a mold which gives him regeneration powers. That's why he is able to overcome the brutal injuries. It's all explained at the end of this phenomenal game.
I mean, not really. They did kidnap his daughter, and then tried to eat him. So it was all self defense and an attempt to rescue an innocent baby. That's like being a serial killer, and then saying to one of the victims "how dare you call me the bad guy, when you're the one fighting back". Plus those "daughters" needed to die anyway

I'm hoping for DLC, a spinoff game or saving them for RE 9. Alcina and her daughters were such fantastic villains gone way too soon and Capcom knows they can make a ton of money off of making more content with these characters.

Considering that Ethan was originaly chased by an los man with an Axe/shovel and guu monsters in a semi-wrecked House, beeing chased by a beautiful tall lady and her three daughters in a clean and clasy castle is quite an improvement
I'm disappointed she transformed way too quickly. There should have been at least a 1st stage actually fighting her in her normal shape, and only then she would transform.

Man i feel so bad for Alcina. In the game you can find a note where alcina says she had loved them from the moment they saw each others. She saw them as her very own flesh and blood daughers. I mean she is a vampire so she likely spent years and years alone and like she said she put blood sweat and tears into raising them and has love for them. She even says in her boss fight "why should you have your daugher when you killed MY daughers". It's interesting to see ethean going through hell for his child and family but doesn't hesitate to kill Alcina's children. It really does show how a parent's love will make them lay their lives down for their kids but obvi has no hesitation for hurting another person's kid(s) she is also the only character who actually feels like a real person with feelings

Lady Dimitrescu's voice actor should have been given to Mother Miranda. She just sounds more like the voice of a boss. More regal, composed, rich, haughty, etc. Her protest to Miranda's decision sounded more commanding than Miranda's own "SILENCE" later on. By comparison Mother Miranda almost sounds like she would have been one of Lady's daughters.
Maybe because she is more uptight and prideful then miranda maybe?
Miranda should have never been a thing in the first place and Lady D should have been the main Villain. Miranda is a Joke compared to Alcina, the idea that a lady as powerful as Alcina would bow down to Miranda is ridiculous.

Villains aren't aware to be villains, in her own mind she really believes she has the same right to complain about the situation as Ethan has, while completely disregarding SHE is partially why Ethan is there and why he had to kill her daughters to survive. If you actually paid attention to Mother Miranda's story this is heavily not true, lady Dimitrescu would've gone down the same hole of insanity if left alive without her daughters, Miranda's whole thing here is that she has literally raised a town of experimental cattle for the sake of getting her daughter back, it's wrong, it's twisted, but it's definitely born out of emotion and a very deranged love for her daughter. Lady Dimitrescu is a good character but the rest of them are also really fleshed out in terms of lore and character development.

@@aurelia1865 Ethan actually died in RE7 he was murdered by Jack and became a mold which gives him regeneration powers. That's why he is able to overcome the brutal injuries. It's all explained at the end of this phenomenal game.

I'm hoping for DLC, a spinoff game or saving them for RE 9. Alcina and her daughters were such fantastic villains gone way too soon and Capcom knows they can make a ton of money off of making more content with these characters.

Kinda pisses me off how Capcom marketed her as the the second big bad and then gave her and her daughters to us for barely an hour and a half.
They only pushed her that hard because the internet freaked out over her and the game was basically said and done at that point so it just is what it is.

Considering that Ethan was originaly chased by an los man with an Axe/shovel and guu monsters in a semi-wrecked House, beeing chased by a beautiful tall lady and her three daughters in a clean and clasy castle is quite an improvement
Voice acting, character design, everything is perfect for Lady D, bar the crappy boss fight.
I was more scared in that underground dungeon chase than her final fight.

I'm disappointed she transformed way too quickly. There should have been at least a 1st stage actually fighting her in her normal shape, and only then she would transform.
All Res bosss fights are like that especially in 7 once you know how the boss works they’re jokes to beat
