Oh man I was 12 when I first heard this song. My Dad and my older sisters always playing his music. His music is a history of my life. I was 5 when I first heard his music. I just turned 58, Bob has been in my life for 53 wonderful years. He is my go too. I always say Bob is my therapist. ❤🥰
"Shinin Brightly" " Feel Like a Number" " Katmandu" " Makin Thunderbirds" and so many more great hit songs make Bob Seger a wonderful rabbit hole to go down.
Thank you both for this reaction...I`ve been waiting for someone to react to this song forever...One of Bob`s most underrated songs...I`ve always felt that this is one of his best songs.
You would have to have been living under a rock if you don’t know this song. You have to be deaf if you don’t love this song. I have been a huge fan since 1976.
Everyone is a brave stranger at some point if you put yourself out there looking for a connection, his point is sometimes it don't work out but it's still meaningful to try.
This brings back good memories, both of listening to the song and the sorts of events it describes. Glad to hear your reaction. Seger is a Michigan treasure.
I like that BJ mentioned Seger's "blue collar" songs. I refer to Bob Seger, John Mellencamp, Tom Petty and Bruce Springsteen as the "Blue Collar Rockers."
You two are spot on so far as the context of being brave strangers. One lyric in particular for me is when he said his hand was shaking. That to me says that this was probably also a first-time intimate experience for the first person/ singers perspective. From the first time I heard this song it definitely hit home. In my life I have had a couple of encounters where personality and physical attraction were present from the get-go. So being brave strangers we allowed ourselves to become one to enjoy each other in the moment. Probably both knowing full well that it would never develop into anything that was sustainable long-term. But man, what a song and what an experience during the years of innocence and experimentation.
Woo Hoo. I'm so glad you did this one. One of my favorite Bob Seger tunes. If your interested in another couple of deep cuts that are still really good. (A lot of artists when you say "deep cuts" means songs that aren't as good as their hits, but not Bob) Sunburst and Feel Like a Number.
Bob always "GROOVES" for lack of a better word.Glad you chose this song, one of my faves of his.Although great as a studio cut. His live like BETH HART takes his music and feel to another level.Greatness!!! His songwriting impeccable his songs proof enough, add to that songs like Collide by Kid rock&Sheryl Crowe, heartache tonight by the Eagles. Born Free by Kid Rock has Bob Segers. influence all over it.. ya ll are a couple of my fave reactors thank you
Thank you for this reaction to this great song! I hope you will listen to Bob Seger's song EAST SIDE STORY that he composed when he was 21 years old. His group back then was "The Last Herd." He independently released the song in 1966. I think you are right Asia and BJ. Seger has stayed true to his bonds and his roots in all of his songs.
Firstly .. congratulations on 260k. Secondly .. Can't go wrong with BS. He's just awesome all the way around. Great reaction ❤ Oh and can you believe it I was #260 (on my screen anyway) to like this vid... 😊
Great song from Stranger in town album. Bob tells a great story in his songs. Another favorite of mine is “Til it Shines”. It’s an up beat, feel good song! Cool vibes. Please check it out.
HAD THAT ( NIGHT MOVES ) KINDA FEEL YOU GUYS, THE JAM WITH THOSE VERSES AND THEN THE SLOW DOWN IN THE MIDDLE AND THEN BACK TO THE JAM, AND THEN HIS VOICE THE SAME WAY NIGHT MOVES ENDED, ASIA JUST LOVES HER SOME BOB BJ! 😊 HER FACIAL EXPRESSIONS ARE PRICELESS, JUST LIKE PEOPLE THAT REACT TO ELTON WITH ALL THOSE BEAUTIFUL SOUNDS IN THEIR EARS, AND THEN OF COURSE THE COMPOSITION, THE ARRANGEMENT! 😊 JUST TOO DAMN GOOD YOU GUYS! GREAT TO HEAR A HIDDEN TRACK FOR SURE!
Bob Seger is from Ann Arbor Michigan 60 miles west of Detroit. Just like Grand Funk Railroad are from Flint Michigan not Detroit. Stevie Ray Vaughn is from Oakcliff Texas Suburb of Dallas not Dallas . Every city has there own swag
One of the greatest, singer, songwriter, & live performers of all times

Just another masterpiece from a song writing genius.
Oh Bob gives you a lot of everything in this song. Love love love the soul from this incredible performer. What a great song.
"Shinin Brightly" " Feel Like a Number" " Katmandu" " Makin Thunderbirds" and so many more great hit songs make Bob Seger a wonderful rabbit hole to go down.

Bob Seger is great at "storytelling" through his songs. I think that is why his music makes such an impact on people's emotions.
Sun Spot Baby is one of my favorites 😂

This brings back good memories, both of listening to the song and the sorts of events it describes. Glad to hear your reaction. Seger is a Michigan treasure.

Baddest Man on the planet period.
Famous final scene or the ring
I like that BJ mentioned Seger's "blue collar" songs. I refer to Bob Seger, John Mellencamp, Tom Petty and Bruce Springsteen as the "Blue Collar Rockers."

Give credit to the man who thanked his backup singers right off when he was inducted into the Rock n Roll Hall of Fame.
When the opportunity arises, listen to "Blame it on the moon"... I think you'll like it...
Love you guys! You got it!!!
Uncle Bob is the GOAT
It baffles me …. Bob was never praised for his piano skills.
Horizontal Bop, Betty Lou’s Getting Out Tonight, Feel Like a Number and Roll Me Away.
Im still crankin from ol Kip Winger
I had quite a few brave strangers
Love that hat, BJ...
Have you heard Let it rock?
HIDDEN TACK, NIIIICCCEEE!!! 😊 OFF OF ( STRANGER IN TOWN )
The producers of the TV show "Suits," should have figured out a way to get this song on the show.
Close enough… 😊
