Hey @Dkayed could I please get your help getting a bug fixed with Gravekeeper’s Ambusher. I reported it but I think I did it wrong. The card effect is supposed to take a card from the opponent’s graveyard and place the card on the bottom of the opponent’s deck but instead places it on top of their deck.
Two games where the tear player opened the one-of field spell, the opponent opened no hand traps or board breakers, and their board was still mid aside from handtraps? This deck smells.
he didn't even complete the first match only showed two random duels I dunno why he wants to make tear look that good

I just love sitting through the 10 minute combo and then having my opponent max c me on turn 2
Keeping combo decks in check. Meanwhile every combo kid and thier moms runs 3x Max C in thier deck. Just now won against SwordSoul who Max C me twice. But it did not matter cause my Odd Eyes managed to win the game with Goddesss.
i play synchron and make them draw half the deck then use card destruction
not sure what youre talking about. maxx c stops combo decks. atleast thats what maxx c defenders say. i cant remember the last time a combo deck was top tier and rampant in the meta, all thanks to maxx c

While the games were a bit cherry picked it still shows the difference of rogue and tier'd in the modern formats.

dlink will stomped that deck, kashtira, diablosis and runick can easily banish tear names and its wincons.

The deck is still good but it no longer drowns you in advantage and effects. Probably tier 2 at best with upcoming kashtira knocking it down to tier 3 or out of meta with all its built in anti-tear hate.

Their can also add Minerva as backup plan as Minerva also mill 3. By the way tear ishizu is officially dead. However the concept of milling still can be used by using chaos ruler and minerva, but still not as crazy broken because of lost 1 additional fusion summon. Tearlament can be play to 2 version either punk tearlament that retain old do heavy milling or branded tear by using 3 cartesia and 3 fusion deployment to replace the lost of 1 fusion summon from merrli and lost 2 copy of branded fusion which essential in branded tear. Tearlement now is just a fair deck not as broken anymore like usually. If your want powerful and broken deck, go for dragon link, labrynth, mathmech, or wait for full package of purrely, Rescue-ACE and Kashtira release soon.

That's basically how they work in the ocg and tcg, it's no longer deck, but and engine to enable some plays.

The archetype got Merrli banned , Havnis and Scheiren at 2 , kelbek at 1 , keldo at 1 , mudora at 1 , sulliek at 1 , perlereino at 1 , kitkallos at 1 , agido is banned .
Tear has been hit so very heavily so many times , it is perfectly beatable by now , it is likely not going to be a tier 1 deck anymore...and I still see people crying for more nerfs and for Kit's ban .
Honestly , if you can't beat Tear at this point it is ENTIRELY your fault as a player , no excuses , just learn to play your deck and learn to play against this deck .
In the meanwhile you are all seemingly fine with Branded , Dragonlink and Spright despite the fact they have always been almost as strong and will now likely be the better picks...after we've already gone through so many Branded and Spright metas . And don't come telling me these are fair decks cause you know it's a lie . They aren't tier 1 or 2 for no reason . It's crazy strong stuff , they still powercreep all of your pet decks to death and beyond unless you are playing other meta / tiered decks yourselves .
Hey I’m confident to say that kitkallos doesn’t need to be banned. I think Merrli ban was enough of the hits

Either try to make it work by adding a punk engine or something else or just move on to a different deck. Also punk tear is fun but bystials are a thing so thread carefully

@@mrharvy100I don’t think you fully understand what they wrote but ok. The key thing you missed from what they wrote was that people are still pushing for another hit on tear. Yes, Tearlaments has been T0 for too long now and this ban list for sure drops the power level. However, due to tear dropping down, other decks step up without as many hits as tear has. In my personal opinion, tear isn’t good anymore due to current meta but it is still better than other decks.
This actually kills tearlaments consistency a lot without banning Kitkallos. Not a bad banlist.

The problem is.. is that tear still works above-and-beyond as an engine so even if the deck was nerfed it still has so many ways to get its basic plays off AND those "basic" plays are more or less STILL so much going against any other deck....
because of its effect of milling it to the grave and just graveyard effect shuffle back, u just have to stop the mill or the graveyard effect and tear is bozo now
But at that point, is no longer a deck, just an engine for other strategies.
I have to question if Tears were overrated even before this? I've got a better winrate against them than against Despia/Albaz (using Marincess primarily).

Tearlament cope is going to be so ugly. I already disenchanted my Tear/Ishizu cards, getting ready for Purrely. Joshua Schmidt has a video about how OCG is still giga coping with Tear and that shit is hilarious.

we dont have tear kashtira. That card is a 3 of in tear deck, which means a very important card. Tear doesnt have any restriction, so it will soon see play. Not now obviously, deck succ now.
Tear kash is good but it’s not a fuser. It’s an extender and additional miller, which is nice and all, but it doesn’t make up for the loss of Merrli
I think tear is good as a deck if your run it with another deck, kinda like a rogue deck.
Finally tear become a rogue chad deck, imma finally start picking the deck up, which i actually like the deck mechanism from day one
samee. I love the mermaid concept but I couldn't make myself play it cause of how "tier 0" it is but now that fewer people are gonna play them, I'm getting em.

I've played against Tear twice, and I somehow came out on top. With both my Generaider deck and my numeron deck (all of the gates were used, so no ftk). I reborned their redoer and they scooped.

Yeah now we have really cool decks allowed to play like runick stun, kashtira zone lock, spyral, Rikka 10 minute combo, and Spright with iblee. Glad we killed tear so these interesting decks can be played instead

It comes down to the fact that Tearlaments don't lock you into anything. They have access to anything they want. P.U.N.K. Bystials. Synchro stuff. Rank 4 Xyz.
I think the Merrli ban was very good for the deck. They are still playable because of Kitkallos, but less consistent. Though I feel pure Tearlaments isn't gonna be worth it because the consistency and the ceiling were lowered so much.

Last seasson i reach master 1 playing tear with this banlist with ORCUST NO P.U.N.K it works really good because a lot of kashtira ban kitkalos and then u have galatea nisu etc free to make a play with u graveyard and win the game the fusions doesnt matter ggs ez

Officially the bannlist was implemented on 01.09 so it’s valid. Seems that not every tournament take the new bannlist when it’s announced.

Even in this state Tearlaments manages to gatekeep Mathmech, ouch. Though considering they still have Bystials, GY shufflers, and just naturally hard punish Laplacian, it's not all that surprising.
they topdecked the field spell and reino and their opponent only got imperm in a hand trap reliant deck This just shows you how bad the deck is that dekayed had to get these very specific footages to showcase the deck were both players had the field spell

Time to ban Chaos Ruler and Zombie Vampire next along the other ishizu cards. To shuffle back Maxx C to avoid the negate was the most dirt thing ive ever seen on master duel. Thats why the shufflers should be banned. Maxx C is another topic but the OCG loves their cockroach so they wont touch it at all.

Tears are still top tier but they're not tier 0 anymore, they're in a collection of tier 1 decks. Dragon link, Labrynth, Kash eventually, Sprights, Exosisters and Runick decks are right there too
No way all of these are tier 1 no resource says something like that there is no yu gi oh format where there are 7 tier 1 decks it doesn't work even mathematically Tier 1 means a deck usually gets 20% usage rate in events/tournaments so there can't be more than 3 since the others catagory is usually around 30% percent
@@josefhweszla4277 those are the decks I'm facing in Master 1. That assortment. Some more than others. Runick, Spright and Exosisters are less frequent but are still in the top of Master Ranks. That's why for MD I used the term tier 1, you could just say the "top tier" or top echelon of decks. Whatever you prefer.

Tears aren’t top tier anymore lol. They jumped down to tier 2 when they played with the new banlist; they’re only tier 1 now because people had a final tournament with tears before the banlist. Also Exosister aren’t top tier; I haven’t seen them in weeks outside of light vs dark event lol. Kash (depending on your definition) also likely isnt.

Also how do you define a top tier deck? Is a deck top tier because a lot of people are playing it or because of how good they generally are? Cause if it’s the former, then Kash is indeed top tier as they’re played a LOT in ladder. If it’s the latter, then yeah I agree that Kash isn’t top tier.

I get the sentiment, but second duel didn't even use it's effect. You can use Beastking of the Swamp x3 and King of the Swamp x1 for 4 potential Fusion substitutions. So you'd inly need to trigger one Tear fuser in the GY to pull out Rulkallos. At that point, Kit is only useful for the guaranteed second Tear fuser send (but 2 potential sends was already common,) and since 3 Tear fuses isn't possible anymore, you can easiliy bring out Reinohart if you have the extra mats in hand/GY or if you have some sort of extension, getting Kitkallos into Dragostapelia.

The deck is almost mid at best now. Hitting anything more is just mindless hate to kill the deck completely. Merrli ban was the better move than banning kitkallos and the tcg nd ocg should have done that. Now the deck is significantly weaker but not unplayable garbage.
If only konami had some foresight to put fusion locks on the monsters, it wont have come to this.
