I've never hated yugioh more since Tear was added, truly one of the most unenjoyable experiences I've had

@@cnydo The only deck that let you interact is tear and only tear. Others deck stand no chance against it. Which is why there is an increase the number of floodgate deck just to counter tear. Back then, there's only few floodgate deck and now it's literally everywhere. To me this is the most toxic format ever because there are only 2 decks viable: tear and anti-tear.

Its not about quitting but getting bored eventually of dueling against opponents using the same cards and strategy all of the time.
Idk about you guys but I have been only playing against runick/runick spright for the past few months. I'm okay with a fusion deck that doesn't try to stun the game which is already a better meta than what was before imho

I be telling people we need to diversify, but meta heads swear original decks dont exist and almost everyone copies because they lack deckbuilding skills. I made a Kairyu Tear this morning. Perfecting it is gonna take a bit but its pretty fun to play whenever MD doesnt screw my shuffle.

This game should be about the variety of cards and creativity of decks that people put together...at some point when 8 duels oit of 10 are against the same deck same plays it gets really boring and there is no fun, specialy decks where the opponent gets to play in your turn more than yours (floo, runick,tear etc)
YGH nowdays is all about money not about balancing the game. Also 99% of all decks today are copy paste net decks that some streamer like Dkayed told you to play cause its broken.

Sad reality is that we're not going to see major ban list changes until after the ishizu cards leave the shop.

we might have to wait for 2-3 months actually. no way in hell komoney is going to ban or limit anything in a month because the tear pack is going away mid june.
Hopefully if they put bans on the Ishizu cards, people will see that they don't need to ban the Tear cards and can leave the deck playable. Sure it will still be a good deck, but the objective should be to balance the game not to destroy good decks.
It would just kill a lot of interest in the game for a ton of casual players who put in resources into Tear to have the deck killed because of how many URs the deck cost...and only 1 of them is actually a card that got touched by the ban list in the TCG/OCG.

1. I can actually play the game instead of sitting and watching someone else making this a 1p game
2. Hopefully all the Tears player go to diamond so I can play in peace in gold

If Konami gets more notifications then maybe 2 weeks after the release or a month until another ban list would drop or like usual near the end of April we will see a banlist but for now it's time to have fun 60 card branded tear here we go!!!!!!
Everytime I see a tear lament deck I immediately surrender. Running a Pacifis deck is a nightmare against Tearlaments
I’m definitely going to be playing less this season. Having good success with heroes turboing out plasma and dark law, and just labrynth control though it’s still feeling weaker not having full power yet. Can’t run necrovalley until we get full power as too reliant on grave atm. Once the banlist hits in a month or so I’ll play more regularly
How many labrynth builds you using I found the one that can otk way more fun xD

I'm definitely going to be limiting my time in MD for the next month or two. I might just do the event, and maybe the BP, depending on what banlist the event has.
I have techd in everything I could and this deck is just too versatile.
Mid combo they get a pop, you ash then they can just continue on your turn, they have no summoning restrictions like branded, they shuffle your graveyard or field at any time. They have a summon negate.
And that’s all with just 1-2 card combos.
Spright, without toad, was just 1 dark ruler, 1 kaiju, 1 evenly. Start playing
true. that's why I kinda enjoyed spright. super easy to play around thanks to several outs. (drnm, droplets, kaijus or even lava golem etc etc) now you need to be lucky and at least 2 or 3 interruptions
If you want to tech stuff that is generically good you only need evenly and super poly, one of those in your opponing hand clears the entire board (most players aren't playing or prioriazing crime so evenly will resolve)

@@knowsage2429 depends on the field, if it has winda/dragostapelia/Dark law plus rukalos you can super poly into dragostapelia which contests the revival effect of rukalos or if you are in a tear mirror more often than not you will be able to super poly their field and make your own kitkalos. The only thing that super poly doesn't out is kaleidoheart
until we get grapha evenly is a good card to play against tear. Of course if they have cryme it doesn’t matter but in my experience on ladder most tear players are ending on sulliek instead
I'm not quitting but im definitely taking a break. I don't like how the URs are set up in tear, if they ban kit or the field, or limit the names to 1 you will still have most of your ur dust lock into tear when we drop the deck. Id rather just play other games and wait

the problem is theres a very little counter to tear rn, with they limiting all floodgates, no bystial or kashtira, the only one that can fight tear is exosister, which the pack is not obtainable.
I was considering quitting before tearelements but now this just solidifies that (if only you didn't have to play ranked in order to get your missions done)
Agree. MD would be my favorite game ever if they charged a flat fee for the game, had all the cards unlocked like YGO Omega and EDO Pro, offered fun events, old school, unbanned list duels, and new school, more servers for fun events, released all cards as soon as they're released to the OCG, can you imagine how great and fun of a game this would be with a passionate developer? Instead it's just a gacha machine, when the servers go down one day people lose all their money they wasted on the game.

It was not ok to release them without the bystials. You can only beat them by banishment or spins and those are very limited.

@@sndorochi9660 Well if you encounter the same deck more than 70% of the time on the ladder after plat, you would most likely leave the duel knowing the deck is literally superior to anything else other than itself. Plus having to run cards to counter it compromises deck structures, so there's no point in competing.
Yeah I definitely got on and got right back off when I saw this deck 6 times in Silver. I don’t think a deck has ever made me want to quit more than this one.

The best way to play against tear is not playing. Take a break and let the number of player falls so Konami knows how much we hate current meta. At least those that "enjoy" tearlament can beat the f* out of each other.

I had to face a full tearlaments board, after I used ash, imperm and nibiru... A deck that can pull that off is not balanced
Imperm is the only good card of those three against Tears, different handtraps are needed to counter them. D.D Crow, D shifter and when the Bystials come to the game they'll be used.
Gets beat by Shifter, Dimensional Fissure, Macro Cosmos, and Necrovalley.

Tear is similar to adamancipator in the sense that they can play through boards with only engine and are very relisient to handtraps, however in adamancipator one droplet or dark ruler and you won the game and vs tear one evenly or super poly probably wins you the game since most players don't search crime
Your secret weapon should be D shifter, fissure, soul drain(konami goofed), and different dimensionsal barrier. Watch them surrender 🤣🤣.
Definitely going to be playing less MD for a bit, this deck looks insane to learn how to pilot optimally and even then... its tier 0 with everyone playing the same deck/strategy it's looking like. Unfortunate. Already looking forward to it getting hit and other archetypes to shine for variety and diversity.

Yeah, i don't think adding a tier 0 deck was a good thing, i liked playing master duel bc i would have the chance to go against so many different decks but now 99% are ishizu tearlaments and me, who had built decks that weren't counter, now has to sit through entire boards i can never break or just quit out (that's what i'm doing most of the times). Even after i re-builded some of my decks against this new meta (it's like the 9 staples for maxx but worst now) i can't stand playing the same match over and over again against the same deck, maybe if they hit the ishizu cards a lil bit harder it could actually get better but idk at this point, i'll just play the events and see what happens
Agree, the meta before tear dropped was really fun, felt pretty balanced, nothing other than floodgates that felt particularly unfair. The sad part is they knew what they were bringing to master duel and did it anyway for money.

Grass was never an issue until Ishizu cards released. Grass has been available since master duel’s release yet it’s never been a huge issue before.

Play Ishizu Tearlaments. The deck is super fun
When it's just ishizu it's still annoying, but tolerable
but with tear i can finally understand why people said ishizu is a mistake, they can mill so much they literally vomit their entire deck turn 1, and it's really consistent too, they don't even need grass and chaos ruler
And the shuffler is just the icing on top
I cannot understand why Konami release nearly fully power of this deck, but many others are still not in full power or with main cards banned.

This Tearlament fellow is pretty busting strong, I might have to get back into the game and teach them a lesson with my Beaver Warrior beatdown otk, I even have one copy of Yata-garasu somewhere in the deck!
this is why I prefer watching shushu and jenjen playing with funny yet balance deck, that remind me to have fun with game and enjoy it.
Even with exosisters + Dimension shifter and fissure it's still very hard to beat them ( you must go first and draw one of those )
And the only out when you play second is Evenly Matched. That's harsh.
And pray to egyptian god cards that they dont have negater like psy/called by the grave

Honestly yup, I’m already absolutely sick of this deck. The only way I tolerate it is with the ocg banlist of everything to 1 and kit banned.
I've embraced the Tear cards. I'm having fun with Tears in my Branded deck. However if they limit the Ishizu cards, Tears would be tolerable at least, maybe lol.
Just ban Ishizu outright and it would be more healthy and if Konami just errata the cards to limit the player to only being able to special Tearlament/Aqua monsters or something since any deck that uses the graveyard as a resource pool can use Tear in them, this way they don't have to hit the tear cards since they'll be forced to play them pure which I think is the most fairest way to play it (I just want to play them pure)

Give it a week most of the tear players on the ladder rn are trash they mill the other players tear cards in the mirror before setting up a dweller and they just click yes to all the tear names they mill they also don't know their chain links in order to optimize their mill effects

After going from silver up to plat in less then a day, I would say it’s that people just find it boring, especially when it was 85% of my matches. Now I like pizza as much as the next guy, but a man can only handle so much cheese pizza before he starts to want some actual toppings.

look at spright when it release, i'm a dragonmail player, i even can't resist their negate all the time. Every new deck are broken you know. Can't beat them with main deck then use the counter deck

My first Tearlament match, i was playing Sprights at full power, and my opponent started very weak.
He still had me beat in turn 4, and would have won if he didnt run out of time.
Tear is great on its own, but the amount of extension you get with Isizu cards is beyond insane.
I do my dailies and then move to casual. There's still tear but not as much.
Just scoop and let tears go up to high ranks. Gold is the place to be now
It's the part where they chain up to 4 effects on their own during your turn that is really frustrating
I'm not touching MD until they hit tear and ishizu. Ban the ishizu cards, tears to 1 and then maybe I'll look at it again. After that, who knows? Maybe we'll have the zone lock turbo that is Kashtira by then and I'll just uninstall it for good.
They'll allow semi full power tear ishizu in MD but wont allow dragon rulers to cime back (yes i know tempest and blaster are in MD, but those are limited) hell i say if they gonna allow tear ishizu to be a thing then bring back dragon rulers or pepe

I'm not quitting the game, but I'm surrendering in a biblical rate. Ranked Duels is unplayable with almost any other deck. I even surrendered on watching the entire video.

I was able to slow the pace of a duel by running Skill Drain and Gozen Match in my Labrynth deck, but I was out-muscled by Kaleidoheart. And I was 1800 LP away from a win...

I thought swordsoul was going to be a decent match for tears but then I remembered that they just shuffle all the tenyis back into the deck from the graveyard after a mill and then you just get no value out of it

Played one match and won (Kairyu-Shin) but still hate the deck because of the endless combos on both turns. Thought Floowandereeze was bad, but this is just vomit-inducing!!! Will just play the minimum to get the daily gems and hope the festival will be Tearlamentsfree. If not, this will be my first break since the first day of Master Duel...
I won a match with my qli deck. They tried to negate towers 😂
New events will only be earth, water, fire and wind element cards. Half the Tear deck is dark so you won see it.
I sure did. Was having fun with vendreads, then krawler soma and recently the new sylvan link. I survived through runic, sprights, ishizu and this was the last straw (un)funnily enough

This deck is worse and popping up more than sprites. Please do a video on best ways to beat this deck, not a specific deck but the kind of tactics that will beat it please and thank u. I'm trying to learn tear but like alot of others I dislike playing only meta decks

Tearlament was so fun and balanced without Ishizu but Konami just sees the $$

@@freaki0734 not really. Runick spright and even pure full power spright were stronger decks then pure tear but ishizu made tear unbeatable.
Just start playing Gren Maju, Floo and other Banish Everything type of decks and SPIT ALL OVER TEARLAMENTS.
You can also play Gravekeeper's.

I've been waiting for Tear to come out. Such a fun matchup against Exosister. Every game I played yesterday against Tear was full of interactions on both ends.
Indeed, its the only deck that feels like it can play with tear because of all the graveyard bs. In glad I have exosisters, but damn do I hate fighting tear with the non-meta decks I want to use
Honestly having played against this deck numerous times in the tcg at locals and tournaments , I can honestly say there is no point to playing master duel while this deck at nearly full power is in the format. It’s nearly impossible to summon from grave and that’s almost a guarantee in any match up against Tear because they mill their deck at will! It plays on your turn, they always seem to draw a maxx c on top of all their shinanigans which should be banned. I guess you could play MD with a Tear deck for the mirror match but good luck to any other deck trying to reach Diamond.
I wouldn’t quit, but I certainly can’t imagine climbing to Diamond or even Platinum next season if these cards are available. And yeah sure, I probably should be using them as well since they are ridiculously good. But, any player can use them and so I get bored at playing against the same deck and cards over and over again. No joke, I already played against 15 players with those cards. I’m hanging there in Platinum rank, but I cannot see myself getting higher anymore.
You'd think that but the mirror match has been the biggest test of my skill as a player. Honestly the only improvement I can think of is banning abyss dweller since it's a floodgate tear can get.

for the last duel about oppomemt deck not playing the millers: since most of the matches will be vs tearla,ents and you dont want them to mill their deck, so you dont want to play the millers since they are just a bad mill

LOL tearlaments are really really good, but they have very exploitable weaknesses. I was using an "annoyance and disruption" deck last night, and took a tearlaments player to turn 13 after I started with a brick. I did lose, but he was decked out completely and If I'd drawn one more stop I'd have had him. Cheers me up to no end that he prolly paid a hundred bucks or more to build his uber sooperdooper meta deck and I had him pulling his hair out trying everything he had to do anything for 13 turns with a bunch of bog-standard cards. 🤣

Yea might be time to set this down for a bit. Deck is insane and trying to climb with anything other than this is damn near impossible. Currently plat 3 and I’ll sit until I drop all the way to bronze idgaf 🤣
