Does anyone know why my Insta360 One X camera does not have a stable image? Is there an ideal setting for having sharp, stable images? Maybe change from 5.7K to 4K or 2K? or change the fps? or disable / enable some mode? ......... I want to get on the bike and record an image without shaking.
I know I am pretty randomly asking but do anybody know of a good site to stream new tv shows online ?

The purpose of shooting in log isn't for color correcting purposes - it's to have access to a wider dynamic range. There's more to it, but that's the semi-correct gist of it.
Since Shanil was interested in HDR video, tell him you can achieve that by shooting in log, then applying a HDR LUTs in post. Any camera that offers 'HDR video', in fact, applies a HDR LUT during the encoding - it's not the same bracketed merge process of still shots.

Great video! Insta360 One X is definitely revolutionary for what can be achieved! On my page same sample of Timeshift (my favourite feature)! It is also definitely the best camera for family since you don’t need to pay attention on what you want to shoot !

Nice video. I also think it's the best camera for the money, if somebody wants to take videos and photos.
And maybe it's more effort using a DSLR for hyperlapse but the quality is really on a different level. But still a nice feature of the One X. I never tried it, but I heard people using the One X software with content of other cameras and achieve similar results
Great video. Can you do some tutorials on post-editing on the app and on desktop studio? It seems that the studio software is really limited compared to the app. Louder audible prompts from the device would be handy.

Hi Daniel, came across your channel this evening, and this video. I have a question please...In your opinion, which do you prefer; the insta360 one x or the Yi 360 vr?
I looked to see if you had previously made a comparison video but, wasn't able to locate one.
Personally, my concerns are about video quality, stitching artifacts, exposure, post production (framing, ease of selecting video to export, export type, rendering time), battery life, and with still frame photography; much of the same. Oh, and sd storage. Cheers

Oh I wish the PC Software would implement the Hyperlapse and the Timestretching modes. Doing it with a smartphone creates on my side too much capacity issues.
Why do you need to keep it still with HDR mode?
Does it blur if you move?
I could really use HDR mode in the snow.
Does the app allow you to add a HDR overlay later?

Your phone stops tracking gps when locked because you didn't exempt the app from battery optimization (doze mode), no?
Can you mix regular video with 360 video in post? And can you adjust the angle of the 360 video like you might adjust x or y position?

What do you guys make of 360 Rumor's latest video saying that HDR video can be done moving?
I found out that 3m selfie stick would blend a bit if you held it horizontally. Right now I am using another selfie stick when I need to extend it to 3m.

2:02 The camera doesn't have RAW for video, that's misleading. It does have LOG, but only in 8-bit.

Footage looked better before the "color correction" process.
You need to set the app to manual and run in the background option.

Hello , i am a casual user i own a lg360 camera very easy to use but images are not very clear , i have heard this camera captures in a special format , and to view these images you have to edit and convert them to .jpg , is this complicated?? also does the camera do the stitching of both front and back videos automatically? or do you also have to do it manually?

I love my insta360 one x I do agree if a next generation better battery life specially in cold weather i get roughly 20 minutes on a good day

Re STATS. It stops recording when the phone locks... try setting the app to be allowed to run in the background. Might not help but it might. Android (and poss iPhone) do sometimes have settings that could help address this. There's also a possibility of being able to run the app from the lock screen that might also help...

I’m having lots of fun with it, but the clip on the dive case broke easy so that was too bad
Normal mode look way better than the log mode, not sure if it's your color grading to its way too yellow in skin tones and overall. And it seems after color grading your getting a lot of banding

Has anyone experience any video playback issues? Video and audio to the clip stutters, as if the video is in slow-mo, but recorded normally. Even looking at previous clips that was perfectly fine before, is starting to do that as well. Video is saved on sd card on camera and on phone. Someone please advise. Thanks in advance!

To clarify, you stated that HDR video is only effective when there is NO movement with the camera? correct? So shooting out a car window at speed would NOT work?

OK I need some help. All my videos have to be in 360 so I don't need all the excess features and editing modes. The problem is that Insta360 studio doesn't work properly, it breaks the default FOV distance which causes the start of the video to be zoomed in close (About 2 inches from my face) I need to I export 360 video that's identical to the one in Insta360 Studio before exporting.

What's best for timeshift ? 5.7k 4k 50fps or 3k 100fps?
Quality really drops at 3k
I usually keep it at 5k unless I want super slow motion then 4k at 50fps
You can probably set the oneX app to be able to keep running in the background (not to allow the phone to go to a sleep state) then you can keep the phone locked and it'll still work.

It's worth mentioning the cold weather battery is imperative if using this camera when skiing/snowboarding. I took mine to France and after an initial 6 minute video, the battery died after 2 minutes even when fully charged! So frustrating! The cold weather batteries made all the difference and lasted like normal batteries when I used the camera in Norway. I have a couple of 360° videos on my channel if you're interested. 😁🏂

HDR or Log mode?
It desperately needs a better sensor in it. The footage from it looks incredibly soft. Like 240p.
Indeed, for video i still prefer the fusion. More work to edit in post but with prores better quality.
@@ChristiaanRoest79 I was looking at the Fusion, but it looks like it can't do any form of slow motion which is a deal-breaker for me.

For video i still prefer the fusion even though the workflow isnt the best. For photo i prefer the Z1.
