My Dad ,who passed away several years ago and I must say a very good cook , also uses sugar beets in his potato salad. He doesn't only prepare it during Christmas but every time he cooks steak or fried chicken..it serves as a side dish. If sugar beets is not available in the market he uses celery which is also yummy and adds crunch..thanks for sharing your "secret ingredient"!!

I remember my lola would cook beef morcon (8 hours simmering in low fire) every Christmas eve, then we’ll freeze a portion for New Year and its much delicious after reheating. That’s the best morcon ever.

That (Russian Potato Salad) is a family favorite. 😊 Our version tho is that we don't mix much, like super halo the sugar beets and add it lang tlga at the end and super konti na halo lang pra natural lang un stain nun beets..
