As someone with this same exact hair texture we are literally blessed, our secret is consistent hair oiling , our hair texture literally loves being straight it holds very well straight for a long time no heat damage

I use mixed chics now and grape seed oil or avocado oil or almond oil, but it still seems to dry out quickly... is she too young for a routine like this? And I only wash on Sundays! Lol sorry for the long comment! I just need to know what to do!
@@racheltyree4879 It’s trial and error, my dear. If she hasn’t had a trim in awhile, you may want to get her hair trimmed. My hair always absorbs products better after the dead ends have been cut. Try Mielle Organics or As I Am. Those two products to well for me. I also like Bella Curls products. They’re less costly and work well for my hair. Best wishes!

True,it’s all about motivation and patience,if you are lazy with your hair it will be difficult to make it grow but if you decide to take care about by doing the right protective style,protecting against the cold,hydrating it daily and not brushing it too much or harshly your hair from any type of texture will grow and be stronger.

I didn't learn my lesson. The first time I had to cut my hair to ear length. Let it "grow" for seven years getting braids done throughout. Cut it into a pixie. Grew it out, doing my own hair, had more length in 2-3 yrs than ever. I let outside hands touch it and cut it to an inch. 😂 I'm done, I am my hair dresser for better or worse. Stylists will sneak in texturing chemicals without your consent, chop, and burn your hair up. 🔥🔥🔥
