i just had a thought and tbh it made me shit my pants... i think WoW is going F2P, because the WoW team knowing us, we'd be apprehensive at best and downright foaming at the mouth if we had to keep buying expansions more than once every two years, on top of a monthly sub. i think they're going to remove the sub fees. a lore guy i watch on youtube told me something that blew my mind. this cinematic, it wasnt about Anduin and Thrall, so much as it's Anduin being us, we hear the call, we see the visions, but we do not answer. and Thrall is Metzen, coming to tell us that he wants us to come back, and that he's sorry that he failed us. this Saga is not only a gamble to get the players coming back, it's the WoW Team and Metzen seeking redemption, while trying to set things right.
