Somehow your video about EPL group A+B got flushed into my algorithm, which made me to try my own fantasy adventure. I managed to get to top 29% with a similar team as yours, which i am quite happy with for my first time :) Thanks for taking the time to make these videos!
As I had the same picks as you in the Group A & B game, I ended in the 40% bracket too.
I love your approach to this game with the 2 heroic picks, and I can easily see it working out in your favor. NertZ is an absolute demon, and kyxsan can pop the hell off in any game. I wish you good luck with your draft.
As for me, I went with a boring mouz & navi 2-2-1 with just a tiny hint of spice. Here it is:
siuhy (leader) - underpriced at 182k, should be around 188k imho. Must pick.
Brollan (HS) - not a big fan of him tbh, but I might as well take him as I couldn't possibly get jimi without downgrading to double IGL or a worse 5th player.
jL (attacker) - great fragger, his major performance was rock solid.
iM (entry) - overpriced at 198k, but better than aleksib. I hope he's good enough to do well at this stage in the tournament with this seeding.
volt (support) - I think he's the best player at the 190k price point, and GL is a great dark horse team.
I was also contemplating the elige 5th, but I just don't believe in the rest of his team unfortunately.
Liquid: NAF, Twistzz
Navi: Aleksi, IM
Mouz: Siuhy.
Banking on TL in this group stage considering their performance on chengdu. As they seem to be on an upward trajectory.
Double Navi and double mouz seems to be quite picked so I needed to diversify a little
I got my first top 50 placement on the HLTV bet league :) i picked double Astralis, double vitality and mzinho
ive gone through a lot of different team combinations and the one i feel best about is a double up on navi and mouz (Torzsi, Siuhy, B1t, Aleksib) and then elige as my 5th, even if complexity go through the lower bracket he could really farm up some teams, and any complexity success should mean elige is playing incredible
I think this strat of siuhy/aleksi with silver mouz/navi players to free up cash for a good 5th will be one a few people look to, I quite like it actually with how forgiving epl is for teams. nice draft!
Jame-flamez-apex-slaxz-mzinho did well for me. This week, another German AWPer is calling my name.
Last time I went crazy with two Fnatic players and ZywOo, which got me top 22%, this time playing it safer with double Heroic and MouZ + AllieStair to spice it up a tad 🙏🏻

In a giant fall from grace, I've gone from 51st after the first 5 drafts to now sitting at 565th 💀 I went Xertion, Torszi, JT, Twistzz and AleksiB for this draft. At least I'll never fall below Scrawndog on the leaderboards 😂
Im gonna go square and go double MOUZ double NaVi and then go with Krimbo, he just has solid performances even when they lose
krimbo is a really cool pick actually. should do well vs BOSS and they might end up with an okay lower bracket run too

the money was wierd with this one. Ended up going siuhy jimpat bit im and dycha. Hate to take im but better than getting JT as a 5th. You might be onto smth with jim not being worth it but ive gambled than many a time only to see him steal all the kills

Edit: so, I think double MOUZ is cliché, they won't do good in neither of their games, I've seen it all. They will scramble through like they did in the Major, so Liquid seems a no brainer and then BIG/Complexity seems fine. NIP isn't a huge gamble, especially alex but without REZ, I left they out at the trash can
mouz are usually very good in group stages, rarely dropping a series, so i'm not too worried about them. surely favoured over liquid to take that group!
NIP even with rez are not in a good place yet, they definitely need more LAN reps with r1nkle etc. skyesports wasn't great for them. without rez i do not think they make it out the group.
