The US Republican Presidential candidate Donald Trump has claimed that there are threats to his life from Tehran. Trump's team said that the U.S intelligence has warned the former US President about the same. Trump posted on the social media site X, formerly Twitter, that there are, "Big threats on my life by Iran. The entire U.S. Military is watching and waiting. Moves were already made by Iran that didn’t work out, but they will try again. Not a good situation for anyone. I am surrounded by more men, guns, and weapons than I have ever seen before. Thank you." Trump's campaigning team confirmed an intel received by the U.S Intelligence team about a possible threat on Trump's life. "Intelligence officials have identified that these continued and coordinated attacks have heightened in the past few months," Trump campaign communications director Steven Cheung said in the statement. Iran has rejected these accusations. It has also denied having any involvement in the previous assassination attempts on Trump. On July 13, Trump survived an assassination attempt during a rally in Pennsylvania. This was followed by a second assassination attempt on September 15 at Trump's Florida Gold course. These come weeks before the U.S Presidential elections on November 5 which will see a direct face-off between Trump and his Democratic opponent Kamala Harris.
