I am old so when Beast Wars came out I was just grumbly about it. Ailis did a great jobs of explaining this game making it looks like a relaxing walk in the park. Thanks for the great entertainment.
Duuuuude i loved this game. You practically had to be a speed Runner to beat the stupid thing. I still remember freaking out when the first episode of the animorphs TV show had them playing Beast wars in an arcade on PC and I spent like years trying to find the PC version. I'm going to make some coffee and watch!
Oh my gosh that announcer voices brings back memories. I had this game on PC as a kid and found it to be incredible opaque and could never figure out what to do lol
I love Beast Wars! I downloaded the demo of this game before it was released. It ran horribly slow and was almost impossible to play. This looks a lot better than I remember.
I remember playing this game as a kid and just being underwhelmed, but watching it *now*, it looks like the physics are really solid and it just suffered from level design and general aesthetic appeal. Did any other groups do anything with this engine? Anyway, great run!
Haven't played this game in years and it was always tough to play. Loved it's online multiplayer mode back on the MSN Gaming Zone. Voice acting was crap as were graphics and could have been better had they used more show accurate designs, stories, and the real actors.
