Love the gold valve cover, it fits the car perfectly. when preparing for paint, acetone+rag to wipe it down, tack cloth, then self etching primer before paint. (it helps a ton with paint adhesion and giving a uniform color surface to layer on). Crazy the air compressor hose ruptured, i've never seen that before!! Don't forget that safety shield on the grinder so you can keep building toys for years to come :)

Being you sucessfully made a K24 to W58 adapter plate are there any plans to have the plate digitized so other builders can buy a blueprint from you to make their own adapters? There is a lot of talk that the company in New Zealand that made your bellhousing is no longer in business, besides they are kind of expensive from what I can find out. I live in the Philippines a country that rapes you on customs and DTI charges. If I could buy a blueprint I could have a local machine shop build me one. Another consideration is W55, W56, W57, W58 and W59 gear boxes are pretty scarce. Has anyone thought to make an adapter for a W50 Iron Case? These are for all purposes just as strong just 10 kilos heavier.

I actually want to keep it for wall art 😅 but i can cut out a thin metal template if that's something you are interested in. The only thing is it probably wont be 100% accurate after so many transfers?
Hey, question about an older video about the bellhousing adapter. But how did you sort out the flywheel and clutch to fit everything from kseries to w58? I'm doing a similar swap to my starion and would appreciate any pointers. Also, the 86 looks sick, Keep up the great progress!
Hey man Thankyou, well after making the adapter plate. You need the k flywheel and clutch cover but the actual disc that spins inside and everything else needs to be for the w58
@Sam's Garage gotcha, so the k flywheel and pressure plate, but with a w58 clutch. I also saw that you got the pilot bearing spacer, but how'd you space out the flywheel and clutch so you had full engagement of the input shaft?
Since i hadnt seen anyone say it I will, when you spray on the wrinkle paint apply a little heat to it and itll wrinkle up real good.

I got that same bell housing go to Maguire bearing and get a real pilot bearing
