I just can´t understand how the portuguese still have doubts. They surprised everyone with a masterpiece by Salvador and now they have another masterpiece by Conan. Gee, so easy. But, it seems they are not convinced!
Who would have thought I'd rather watch this on Saturday than Andra Chansen of Melodifestivalen? 😊 That's a really strong selection you have this year, Portugal! I think I'd be fine with anyone of at least half of them (Igual a ti, Perfeito, Telemóveis, or A dois).
Conan must win FdC 2019! And if he win FdC and than Eurovision Final, and if Portugal can't produce such a big event again, I can host ESC 2020 in my big garden and make an acoustic edition. 😁😁

I used to think that Deban was resentful to everything Portuguese. I was either way wrong or Conan changed how he views the country and it's music and even heritage. In Portugal everyone loves William and he deserves this love. Now I also love Deban and I'm sure he's on everyone's hearts by now. I can't pick a 1st between Conan and Surma, if only we could send both lol but my top 10 would be: 1st - Conan 2nd - Surma 3rd - Ana Claudia (it's been a grower for me) 4th - NBC 5th - Calema (I don't think it's Eurovision material though) 6th - Mariana Bragada 7th - Madrepaz 8th - Matay (great vocals but not my style)
The main problem with Inercia, is that wants to grow in the chorus, but the rest doesnt go in that direction. And kinda sink. It kinda reminds me "há um mar que nos separa" but in the opposite way. Inercia needs a revamp to balance more.
I think juries might have been a bit sceptical at first with Conan's song because it was something so different but they'd have to be crazy not to pick him with the amount of buzz he's had

First part he’s breaking his cell phones trying to call heaven to reach his loved one ( somber section) then as he starts to conquer his yearning it Gets more lively until the point that he conquers it completely and he demonstrates it by the metaphor of sending an arrow and killing the yearning so he no longer needs to break anymore cell phones!!! Loved loved loved this... 😹 You guys don't know but real good artists in Portugal don't want to compete in Eurovision. For so long in 🇵🇹 Eurovision was seen as as almost a comedy by real musicians. Salvador winning (even though he also was a little "against the whole Eurovision concept 🙄🙄) has "moved" something and this year you can feel that. Although many many more conservative 🇵🇹 will not vote for Conan, he has already the support of many. So fingers 🤞!

Actually guys the face paint is not some cultural thing or whatever, they were flags from countries going through...issues. The song title translated is "changing world" and the flags are Venezuela, brazil, israel and chile i believe, you guess the rest, but you're right it's boring, yeah. One of the reasons I can think of Conan not being chosen is the fact that RTP does not want or can not host another Eurovision so soon after they hosted their first XD. This and the "last century" jury's mentality... At least the public knows what's the best. But believe me, Conan's song draw the attention of many people who were not interested in Festival da Canção before (even after Salvador's win). If he is not chosen then the show will lose popularity once more. About your video, love your reaction. I also liked Calema and NBC's songs (the studio version I mean), but I think their live performance was a little bit off, specially Calema. Matay is a solid song, but I really don't want this to win. I like it but not for Eurovision. The same thing for Madrepaz's song. Mariana song's could be better. And Ana's song was a pleasant surprise, but it's not enough to convince me. Surma's song is my second choice. Funny is I don't enjoy this kind of music but I kinda love the ideia of Portugal being really different from the others, so why not?
