I love Honky Tonk Man as a character and his shoot interviews are gold but I totally believe Bundy on this one. Bundy was such a humble and down to earth guy from what I’ve gathered from his shoots. And I can tell you FIRST HAND Bundy was absolutely the realist, sweetest, nicest person EVER. (May he RIP 😢) and then on the opposite side you have Honky tonk man who was probably one of the crustiest dudes we ever had the displeasure of working with....the only other person that may tie with him might be Edge cuz he insisted on his own dressing room & he refused to talk to anyone other than his opponent & bailed immediately after the show. Or maybe jake the snake who took the money & never even showed up...but I get he was going thru some shit back then.
I watched Edge in a locker room in Marion North Carolina in 2011 backstage unannounced to visit a friend. My buddy got me backstage because he was Indy wrestler on the card and friend of the promoter. The friend of Edge was a young Cash Wheeler at the time known as Steven Walters and his opponent was Phil Shatter later known as Jakson Ryker in WWE. Edge played toys with the young son of a local referee for well over an hour and appeared to be having a great time. I personally do not believe your story but if you are telling the truth you must have met him on his worst day.
