    That was so weird. I have had a very sore back/neck for around 6 months and I only now thought of searching for something like this. I tried it right after watching it, and I am now sat here feeling absolutely fine. Thank you for sharing this easy method, I genuinely didn't think it was going to actually make a difference.

    For anyone having trouble.
    Use a thick yoga mat as a base. And use two rolled up towels in the spot you want to pop. Then drop on it, actually fall on the towel. Don't quickly lower, you need to drop your body weight on the towel. A doctor would use oposite force, you need to mimic that force using gravity.
    Thumbs up my comment to help other newbs.

      Do it on a hard surface like the floor. A bed won't work.

    • @smidgens1
      @smidgens1 8 ปีที่แล้ว +20

      Are you pulling your spine out enough? it helps to actually take it out and place it on the floor.

    • @AbsoluteASB
      @AbsoluteASB 5 ปีที่แล้ว +6

      The key is to literally fall backwards onto not one but two thick rolled-up towels. And use a thick yoga mat as the base surface, you want the yoga mat to be thick enough to not hurt your head if you hit it hard on. Don't just lean back and drop the last few inches, actually fall the entire way. Your muscles need to be totally relaxed in your back for this to work the way he described the method.
      I tried this month's ago and gave up after a few tries out of frustration. I tried again today due to a desperate state, I'm the guy able to cracking every friends thoracic with near doctor precision and of course nobody can reciprocate. This time I acted like someone was going to catch me or I was falling into water. I had success.
      Let us know if it works.

    • @KeffandMac
      @KeffandMac 5 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @@AbsoluteASB Exactly. You can't just lay down fast. You have to actually fall full force onto the rolled up towel, relaxed as possible. I've also found that it helps if you take a deep breath and exhale fully right before you do it.

    Almost every night before going to bed, if I did not fall asleep within 5 minutes I would begin to get this tingling sensation in the middle of my back and down to my elbows. I knew if I could only crack my shoulders the feeling would go away, but nothing I tried worked, not using a chair, rollers or posts helped and this work 100%! thank you so much kind sir I sleep better at night thanks to you

    Thank you!! I've always had trouble cracking my own back. The best that I've done is with a chair but even then, it had to be at just the right height. This worked amazingly well. Actually, at first it didn't work so I used 2 towels and rolled them together. Then the results were remarkable!!

    Car crash.Twisted vertebrae in X-ray."I'll rough it."8-9 months later, trouble breathing and heart feels like a knife is being dug into it.Half-laughing, half-crying laying in bed.Watching chiropractic videos, little bit of research..."Right there..."
    Get towel."Oooooh, don't kill me, don't kill me."First attempt, didn't relax, wasn't pulling shoulders correctly, pussed out.Second attempt, Deep breathe, shoulders pulled to the max, let go of fear, free fall...*pop*Spine - "This isn't even my final form."
    Third attempt, higher up the spine, repeat steps, really relaxed...*earth quake*Spine - "Yeah baby, give it to me."
    Fourth attempt, right on pain center, holding myself like a baby, dropping in from orbit...*ecstacy*Spine - "I owe you one, buddy."
    Thank you, you majestic spine demolisher.

  • @Jkelman27

    OMG!!! Thank you! I couldn't do it on my bed b/c it's memory foam; the towel sunk right into it. I did it on my living floor, with a pillow at my head. I went a little slower but it worked!!!
    I got into a car accident about 8 yrs ago this coming up April and I was 8 months pregnant. My son survived, he's my miracle baby :)
    My back was so screwed up, my spine was going in different directions and my neck was pointed towards my chin. The Dr. had no clue how I walked away from the accident, he said with my injuries I should have been paralyzed or worse. Instead I walked away with a concussion and a VERY screwed up back and a healthy baby that was still alive in me.
    I was able to go to a Chiropractor to get my back some what functional for my labor, but then labor screwed it up again and we had to start from the beginning. In about a yr and a half my back was almost normal, but then PIP ran out.
    Since then I've been trying to figure out to pop in between my shoulders, during the cold weather or rainy season. My Chiropractor never gave me "at home" tips or tricks, he always insisted I came into his office, but I couldn't afford it.
    It's just so much pain sometimes.
    I'm very appreciative for this video. Thank you.

    The symptoms you described are exactly what I have! I searched for 3 years for a trick to crack my own upper back, not lower. Been to multiple Chiropractors and none of them have ever been able to crack me in my upper back. Only once has someone cracked my problem spot and it felt SO good! I tried your method and it definitely cracked my back! It didn't get my exact spot but I'm going to try to loosen my muscles and keep trying. This is the best method I have found, hands down. THANK YOU!!!!!!!!

    I rarely comment, but I just want to say thank you for sharing this. I usually ask my relatives to crack my back using different techniques, but now I can do it myself and not have to wait for when they're available. I love that I can place the towel right on the spot that has the most tension. I've tried other techniques on myself but I could never get the exact spot I want.
    It took me a few tries. I tried it on my bed and on the carpet. Carpet worked best for me because the towel doesn't move when I fall back. Relax and take deep breaths! :)

    Cannot stress enough how much this has helped me! For months I have had trouble breathing deeply because my back was just too tight to expand. I just a pillow and a door foam snake (draught stopper) and it works brilliantly. I can breathe! I had severe headaches for over a year too and they're slowing going away. I've done this twice in the morning every day for about a week and I feel like new!

      you shouldn't be doing adjustments more than once a month after the problem shows signs of ceding. If it still persists, then there's something going on with your posture/lifestyle or the fix isn't happening and you should be seeing a professional.

    Thank you for posting!!!! This really works! I've had pain in my upper right back for couple of months. Watched your video last night. It makes sense, so I decided to try it. I heard a couple of cracks (not real loud), and continued the procedure, approx. six times. It immediately felt better afterwards, and after sleeping, today the pain is gone!!!!! I don't know if it will come back, but if it does, at least I now have a technique to use that works! I'm soooooo glad that I tried this, and didn't listen to any of the few negative comments people posted; because the technique really worked for me. Thank you!! thank you!!!

All honestly; I'm glad I saw this video! My back feels great, I can stand taller without pain. Thank you very much for sharing your skill with us.

      I have severe upper back pain- I work with patients in a hospital, alot of lifting and such positioning people and so forth... then my job requires a ton of computer work... so I get burning down my arms and sometimes the upper back pain gets so terrible that I can barely tolerate it. I discovered this method of adjusting my upper back and it has really helped and never hurt me... I can't tell you that it is 100% safe, but I can say that it never hurt me...

  • @ambrosechiro
    @ambrosechiro 11 ปีที่แล้ว +5

    Self manipulation is counterproductive, usually because it moves joints that are already unstable and are trying to stabilize themselves with increased muscle activity, and are often a symptom of a problem elsewhere. If you practice this type of self manipulation you may find the need to do it more and more often as the area becomes progressively unstable, and you could well wind up in chronic pain. I see many patients in my office who self manipulate or have friends or family manipulate their spines and ultimately seek professional care in desperation. My advice: see a qualified Chiropractor, you wouldn't try your own Dental work with a power drill would you?

    and it's always a bit of pain looking for that one person that know how to do it.
    Today I've learned how to do that on my own. And it works for me. The relief... I don't have the words for it. Just awesome! Thank you very much!!
