I have been looking for hard numbers & this is the first time I have seen the proof. In Europe ,they ride these V-twin bike because they can easily be fitted with Turbo without the fairing. They are great to ride & carve the canyons like a turkey on thanksgiving. Been looking for a Turbo!!!!! This is the proof I needed....... The new BMW is great too!! It not only is strange looking bike ,but beats the Busa & Kaw both hands down. It's all in the Engineering....................
goes to show you it's not the bike class its engineering & rider . technology is really something. A super charged SV /V-twin vs a Busa & the V-twin wins rather easy....
that looks fun, in my opinion the sv 1000 street version dosent need anymore power, but it gos to show what a little know how can produce, real nice clutch adjustment there to, a dude put a turbo on his 03 sv 650, I read it in a magazine, so there wasn't a review as such, just various engine mods ect, nothing on Lag or cornering clearances, not completely sold on the idea of turbos on alloy engines myself, isn't that a bit 80s tho?? never really took off, there was a weight issue as well economy, drivability, and reliability
Ok now that I have seen it can be done, what kind of turbo u using ?, send me some info, I need to do this to mine. So I can show up some of these new bikes lol
