Very good video. I am not long after watching Paul at Haxby Shed do a review on the self same table from Vevor. It seems they don't always manage for the money because his had appreciable rock when sat on the mill table. He cured this by setting the table dead square, mounting it inverted and taking a pass over the base. That said, I still think these tools represent astonishing value.

I got one of those a while back, pretty sure mine’s the smaller version.
For the money it’s a damn good table. I’ve only used it once or twice, but both times it’s been really useful.
I bought one of their anvils too, I think it was either 20kg or 25kg, it was on special offer for £55 delivered.
I had to finish it off with some filing (the horn was coated & flat on top) but still that meant I could get it to the shape I wanted.
It’s got the 1” square hole for tools & has been an invaluable addition to my workshop.

I have one of these, different vendor but made in the same sweatshop. Dragging the indicator across the top when it's set for zero angle doesn't mean shit because that's obviously the setup used when they ground the top flat. You'll never use it at zero degrees (flat) anyway! Set the table angle for something different, say 30 degrees, and THEN indicate the top. What you will find, if it's like mine, is about .010-015" out of flat from one side to the other. If you tilt it the other way, the high end goes to the other side. The bearing surfaces between the top and base are not made with much precision. I keep several pieces of shim stock handy to place between the base and top to make the table somewhat usable, aka within a few thou.
The crank feature of the table is poorly thought out and almost completely unusable! It's some kind of strange joke! As seen in the video, if you tilt the table towards you it's quickly becomes impossible to turn the crank at all. It's even worse if you clamp anything to the table like John's milling vise. Even when you tilt away from you, the crank mechanism prevents the table from fully reaching it's angle limits. I removed all that crank junk from mine and just snug the bolts when tilting the table. With the Indian sweatshop version of this table, they deleted the crank and cast rack and just have another bearing surface. I don't know if that one is more accurate or not.
Another thing they forgot was to finish the top of the clamp-down area! It's not close to being flat and has a rough, cast surface that will mar your hardware. I was able to fix this by reaching in with a fly cutter and milling it flat like it should have been.
The only thing going for it is price, but be prepared to do a lot of shimming and indicating when you need to use it.

Just another point to note.Vevor are currently the subject of UK Government action in terms of product safety of electrical appliances. This relates to a wide range of goods from welders to compressors to kitchen equipment.

Hi Carl, yes they currently don't sell electrical equipment in the UK; I wanted to test an ultrasonic cleaner. Cheers

Forget using protractors, get a magnetic base digital inclinometer, they read to 0.1 degree, make sure to zero it on the table of your machine first in case it is slightly off level.

That was well worth the money and I bet it sells well too. Very handy accessory. Just for something to do, I would try to get the backlash out of it just a little even though it doesn't matter that much.

I reviewed it on my channel too John and I agree it is very good for the money. I did have a bit of rock on the base so I skimmed it. Cheers Paul

Another nail in the coffin of UK based importers with reasonable overheads. How they make it so cheap? Because it’s probably made with melted down machine tools from the previous generation.

Just ordered one from Vevor. It was showing in stock but an hour later they refunded me. No reason or explanation what's happening.
    Shit company to deal with!
