Insightful and enjoyable post. Love your subtle and specific vocabulary, too. Using "girthy" to describe bass conveys so much, for example. Such a fun word. Thank you.
I have to say Aviation is by far the best budget hybrid I've heard. The sound is so dense yet spacious. I think it scales well with better dac, pair it with a 8-channel ess dac and you will be blown away!
Let's hear what this one is all about-it's interesting. Thanks for the review! Eventually, I will get a Letshuoer, but I still go with the Hisenior next, Okavango. I'm also waiting for Penon's Voltage, which should be announced soon.
spot on with the DAC chip choice 100%, was on my topping ess and i didn't like it then switch to AKM and it is better. this is for me, your experience might vary.
Wow Tony, you have been cranking the reviews out. I’m hoping you are going review of the new Ziigaat Doscinco and the Cinocotres…? Inquiring minds want to know…..in all seriousness I think a lot of us are in anticipation. Keep up the great work.
Man! You’ve been working pretty hard! Very insightful review as always, keep them coming. Something that would be awesome to add is seing how they fit you. This would give us a nice impression of the size and fit. Something that IEMs/headphone reviewers often don’t do.
Excellent video as always Tony! makes me wonder how it compares to cheaper hybrids such as the Rhapsody and Nova? or at least how far they trail behind the cadenza (respectively)
I have too many $200+ earphones. Currently enjoying Kinera Freya 2, no idea why but I love it. What I am looking for is that extra stage and imaging technicality without losing bass. The problem that I am facing is to achieve a good punch one needs a good seal. But that kills treble and makes stage intimate most of the time. There are earphones that manage to provide both stage and bass to varying degree (Freya 2 is one of them in my opinion). I am looking for that balance. Other reviewer say Cadenza 4 provides that stage and imaging. What is your impression? Compared to, say, Pula 2?
If I specifically want to listen to an album like In Rainbows from Radiohead especially the song Nude from that album with the vocals, what IEM would you suggest in the 200-500 USD, what kind of tuning is best for that kind of song? Will Cadenza 4 be good as an alternative? All I have for now is Moondrop Kato and planning to upgrade because I feel like I need better. I love it but I'm ready to move up the price with better treble and a bit less bass than the Kato.
I think if you go into rock you should also focus in well layered songs some with busy moments (without having to go straight to metal) and some with less busy moments. I suggest here a couple, some old school some modern: - Drive, Incubus - Simple Man, Shinedown (rock version) - Black Rain, Soundgarden - Plug in Baby, Muse - Blackbird, Alter Bridge - Danzig, Mother - Franck Binaca, Hot Karate - Coalescense, Ihlo - Out of the black, Royal Blood
For rock, despite the song name, you might Nuclear Power Trio. It's a trio of metal musicians who got together to jam on some funky jazzy rock instrumental songs while wearing masks of Donald Trump guitars, Kim Jong-Un (drums), and Vladimir Putin (KGBass). The Chain by Fleetwood Mac is a well recorded classic rock song well know to many with both female and male vocals. Take It Easy by The Eagles is another well known classic rock song that is recorded well but has guitars in the middle that can get hot on bright earphones. Carry On Wayward Son by Kansas is another well known and well recorded classic rock song alternating between lush and staccato parts.
EM6L is phenomenal especially considering the price , but the C4 is just more polished .. More refined. Having said that the Bang for money winner is the SiMGOT

Im waiting for those as well
Shame to Moondrop, Letshuoer's accessories are great despite being priced lower than the Blessing 3.
Please add - Baby I am gonna leave you - by - Led Zep. it has great instrument and vocal arrangement.

DCMEKA AO9 from Amazon, I had trouble replying to that specific video
Here is a complex rock song i use to test treble: knife vacation by ling tosite sigure
Would you say this could be a cheaper (almost) softears studio 4? They seem to graph pretty similarly.
how are these letshouer models compared to studio4 and rsv?
Please give a chance supertfz force 1 for review
Sure I'll see if I can get one.
