Classic track. This was my introduction to Akala 15 years ago (followed by FITB Part 1). Someone had posted both videos in an “Inspirational Conscious Music” thread on the official Zeitgeist Movement forum. I listened/watched both back-to-back - became an instant fan and dove head-first into the wonderful world of Akala (all his music, books, lectures, etc). Best conscious rapper of all time in my opinion. And I say that as someone who’s been listening to rap since I was 7 back in the 80’s. Chuck-D & KRS-One were among the best conscious rappers of the time, but Akala is the one I’d been waiting my whole life for.
Anything by Akala is fire! Really happy you boys found this track. It's deep and profound and speaks to the youth and the elders ... Musicly perfect and lyrical rock solid.. Love Akala and I love your videos! Sending youz Love from England ! Stay true! PEACE!
Bullsh** was the track that brought this young man to my attention , as a older white dude it was refreshing to see the man come through talking his chat , Mad to think it was back in 06 , Chase n Status did a D&B version too
