- I already get to learn so much from my dad - a 3x FIA World Champion... but for my first ever tarmac test I also got to learn from 9x FIA World Champion Sébastien Loeb! Learning doesn't get better than this! So excited to have this opportunity - I listened so hard to all his experience, it's such a fantastic chance for me to develop my tarmac skills! 🙌😁 Thanks to Seb and the team at Sébastien Loeb Racing for all your work!
Make sure to pop by sebastienloebr...

comin' with the heli like a boss, piloting alone. wth lolllll you must be kidding me man loeb is a truly legend
Absolute mad lad !
True champion
At first I didn't realize he was piloting himself. Damn, he is wild.
Something about rally drivers and helicopters would make me not want to be flying...... if you know what I mean :(
@@VoluntaryStone We lost a champ this way, that's for sure.
Imagine your dad is petter solberg and your teacher seb loeb. Holy crap
Performance anxiety !!
So much pressure
you have to win at least 1 world champion lol
But Pernilla, his mother is the most badass of them all.
i mean, speechless right, wow. School I can get behind
Thats awesome, I love seeing the old rally legends coming together as friends, it seems like rally is one of the main sports where competitors actually remain friends years after.
Old? Petter and Seb L are just pups in my book. But rallying has always been a friendly family sport.
Good luck Oliver, is it going to be you vs Kalle for the 2025 crown?
Actually skateboarding is the main sport for that.
I would guess that it has to do with not racing wheel to wheel like in other motorsports.
@@positivesquad Off course. And not only that. Freesking is very friendly sport too. Basically all of theese "modern lifestyle" sports are. Rally is bit exeptional, but I love to see those two bards meeting together and giving experiences to young Solberg.
@@hughcdavies
"Pups" with 12 titles of WC WRC pilots together...
Seb Loeb is as gangster as they come lol what a legend.
Only thing missing was a cigarette in his mouth when he jumped off the heli. #godfather
ikr
@@Jt7166 He's french after all..
Car setup is a huge part of the learning process in rally, it took me while to understand how minor tweaks can make big differences. Having Loeb has a teacher is something all of us could only dream of.
jean luc Dubinator and what do you rally?
Plus Petter as Dad and teacher too
@@fabioschwarz21 dirt rally 2.0 😂
@@wanyu2078😂😂😂 My guy.. you ever considered doing it for real?? It really is so expensive ain't it.. I must confess it's something I've been wanting to do for ages now.
1:50 the best moment. Petter and Oliver listening how Seb take the corners on a Tarmac Rally. Amazing vid.
Comes flying in his own private helicopter lol baller
colin and bryant flying too:(
Fun to see your dad and Sebastien giving their tips to you, they fought really hard back in the 2000's it's great to see how friendly seb was with you and your Father. Fair rival that's it !
This kid is so lucky he has teachers some of the best rally -sport can be out-there.. just like Ken Block daughter, these kids might fight as well on track who knows what future will bring.. Good luck to them for competing in all future motorsport disciplines..
this dude Loeb ahahahaha X'D dude so chill, just a humble arrival with a helicopter, give some advice for the youngling and then leave with that chopper lol :D
must have been an amazing experience for Oliver, I don't even drive a car and I envy him
Learning from the legends (including your Dad) - you've got a great future Oliver!
Very true and well said
Loeb is such a complete, and I mean....complete! driver. WRC, Pikes Peak, WTCC, Rallycross. He drove and almost won everywhere.
Dakkar to
@@rcyycrpanda655 oh yes! I forgot it
Formula E too I think?
Nice to see a 9 times wrc champion giving a future wrc champion his time experience and advice👍🏁
Imagine having solberg and loeb as your teachers. What a lucky kid! Lifes good
What a legend, the best mentor you can get for rallying.
You're my new favorite driver bro keep it up but I've been your d Dad since 2003 You're gonna be a legend
Is this oliver that gave me the thumbs up
very lucky kid to have this dad with these friends !!!
Loeb is a boss flying his own helicopter cool!
Dude, there are guys out there that would give their left testicle to learn Seb's tricks and tips. Congrats.
Make the most of it Oliver, of all your opportunities. The position you in is a very lucky one wich most people don't easily get. Make the most of it, the harder you work the luckier you will get. Wish you the best. Well done.
You are going good Oliver, learning from legends Loeb and your dad, good luck for u. Be open for learning everytime. We loeb you seb.
Is it true that Loeb didn't get into motorsport till he was in his twenties? The man is a genius, fast in or on what ever his piloting, bikes, single seaters. Rally driver's are the finest drivers in the world!
I'm from Alsace too and legend says that all the police and gendarmerie knew very well Sébastien Loeb way before his official racing debut..
@@homasas4837 I bet they never caught him in his car! Probably just waited till he got home to speak with him! I had the pleasure of seeing him at Goodwood festival of speed a couple of years ago
I was a huge fan of your father as a kid never knew any of you had a channel
What the hell, only realizing at the end hes flying his own damn heli. I see the legends are grooming oliver to be one of the greatest drivers of the next generation as well. Should be exciting
Big props, Oliver. I'm sure you'll carry on the Solberg legacy and have a killer WRC career.
Loeb is in GTA V
You got the best tutor in the world for invaluable tuition. Your father Petter laid the foundationsand built the walls for you with his experience....Sebastian put on the roof and the tiles....lucky you young man....😁👍
1:34 he can feel everything. So good.
Is Loeb piloting the helicopter himself? Good luck on the rally in the US with the Subaru team. All the best.
Pixel_ Lag_25 Yes he have is helicopter since maybe 10 years
@@Pierre-cj9cm He doesn't own a helicopter himself. He's used to rent one at Swift Copter, located at Geneva airport.
And he eats only green apples, never the red ones !
That's his helicopter. Has had it for a while. Leasing is way more common in aircraft as it allows commercial use during idle periods.
@@radada86 thats his
A world champion father with a rival world champ of 9x as your teacher and a tons of loads of money to sustain a rally hobby. Some kids sure are truly blessed to have that kind of life many of us can only dream of...
I disagree. If he has the opportunities, why should you scoff at him?
whoa i remember this two in their cars, the blue and the red, battling in the roads for the championship, at top speed, anxiety, one stage for each and the end of the sunday is near, oh man, who will win?!
and now, they are pals and together are raising a new pilot, i feel old now
So excited to watch you drive. Your dad is my favourite rally driver of all time and Seb is beyond compare. Have fun and stay sane and you will do well
You must be future champions!! What a teacher from you dad and Loeb!
Bravo
Loeb and Solberg - What legends!
Great video, thanks for sharing.
Also, have good luck on your races!
Your dad and Seba .. 2 of the greatest drivers the World has ever seen.
Oliver is already more exciting! Check him at Goodwood!
Seb loeb, what can we say. What a legend!
Loved seeing my fav rally legend Petter...good luck to you son 👌🏼
I grew up about 1 km away from the Solberg farm, and as a kid I could sit on my porch and hear Petter and Henning road test their cars on the gravel road, prepping and tuning before rally weekends.
Lucky you
Uncle Loeb is the best of the best !!
Congrats to Solberg family. keep on ralying
WOW! Fantastic day for you. Good luck 👍
Your dad was my favorite rally driver watching growing up, how does he take Seb being the boss
let's be honest, Loeb is the undebatable legend
@@installshieldwizard3017 what is funny is if someone wants to beat him it is at best 2030 😂😂the man is simply reigning very chill in his chooper
You've got the dream team of mentors my man. Glad to see you putting in the required work to take advantage of that. Other in your position might just show up to the race with a mega car and hope for the best. It seems like you will drive anything and everything you can get your hands on, and it's awesome. 👍

Seb Loeb is the best to ever do it. Having a legend as a teacher is dope 👌 🙌 👏 😎.
Oliver, your father was the only driver who won the world championship from loeb, congratilations!👏👏👏👌😎
Insane how talented you are and how good your English is as well. I enjoyed this video a lot but kept thinking man, what did I do with my life, this kid has it figured out early hahaha. All the love Oliver, you're unreal.
It shows how cool Loeb is to take the time to help out the new wolf coming up. Nice video, now go kill it Ollie!!!
When your dad is a legend, tell you to learn how to drive to his rival whose also another legend. So much pressure.
No wonder he is so good - He has loads of talent and Two World champions to tutor him 😀
Im in awe at your young talent and will be closely following your progress through your career i stringly believe you have it in you to become one of the absolute greats. Best of luck in the present and in the future.
Il me tue, la gars en hélico, j'était pas prêt 😂 il inspire le respect
Loeb will always been the greatest ever rally driver and will (most likely) remain the most successful racing driver in history for a long time to come. Schumacher's record seems to be unworldly but Loeb's record is almost inconceivable.
Even though you think pops is superman, sometimes you goto listen to the guy who has wc x9 behind his name , loeb is a legend ,with his teaching and with solberg heritage ,are we gonna see possible x10 tittle holder ,the future looks favourable for this talented young guy
two legends to teach him! you´re really lucky
How cool to help out...just jumping in his heli to travel there...so cool.
Wow that must have been extraordinary!!
Loeb looks like an elite soldier...
Great work great family great to see father son one on one time
Das ist die beste Ausbildung die du bekommen kannst. Von einem 9 fachen Weltmeister. Ich wohne am Colins Crest aber da gibt es keine Rally mehr was ich sehr schade finde.
Legend!!! In this video Loeb and Oliver looks young, and cool
From the first images onboard... I think Oliver junior almost piss himself!
Keep working, best of luck to the tree pilots and staff!
I was a huge of fan of Peter Solberg when he was racing in WRC.
Le meilleur professeur du monde ! ☺️⚡️
Cool come on
Oliver!! Supporters from China
That is awesome! Enjoy the experiences fella, you truly are living the dream 😎
Loeb......still showin how its done. To much class for one man.
And just like that won another rally having been out of the running for a while, at the fine age of 47. Loeb is absolutely a specimen of his own.
*I'm a simple man.*
I see soldberg, i subscribe.
Jeg er villig til å satse alt jeg eier og har på at du blir verdens beste om noen år Oliver! Blir spennende å følge deg fremover
i was like damn this guy is arriving in a helicopter, thats a boss move. then i noticed he's the one flying it! He's on a whole different level
guy really flown himself in a chopper to spread some knowledge and hop he goes
Loeb is great. He is the man!
2 Solberg and Loeb. Legend guys
Loeb is the Best.

i was like damn, i guess it makes sense Loeb isn't really scared at all of flying. he's probably got a good pilot with him. oh, he is the pilot... i'm not even surprised.
Imagine if McRae and Burns were still alive...

Wow Seb instructing on tarmac driving. Must of been the same with Collin learning from Ari
Great Super Seb und Solberg Junior..
Flew his own helicopter??!! If Loeb wasn’t a big enough legend already. One of the best DRIVERS of all time.
Loeb is the king...
Lucky boy!
Cuando tu padre es campeon del mundo y de los pilotos mas queridos, y tiene de amigo a una leyenda 9 veces campeon del mundo, y te estan enseñando a manejar...que suerte Oliver!!
Loeb is the goat of rally racing.
Looking at Loeb is like looking at messi. What legends.
Learning from the goat. How lucky!

i'de say Son of a King, learned from The Emperor
So Sebastien Loeb flies in on helicopter to train with you. O. M. G....!!!
Wow 👏lucky kid, amazing so young. Boss s. Loeb.
is that Peter Solberg? are you his son?
I am pretty sure Loeb will win the next WRC event, something tells me he will literally fly.
Tour de corse? Me also, let's hope that he won't find the road too dirty
Loeb is a selfmade man. That is the difference to the rest. He is trying everything himself. I guess he never asks for help anyone else.
L. Toma haha, yeah right. He is a true legend but not any more or less selfmade then Solberg, Mcrae and the finns
Umm, not really self made. When Loeb was up and coming the PSA group threw millions and millions in to forging him a brilliant career. I'm not taking anything away from him as a driver, he is without a doubt one of the greatest ever but he had a helping hand like nearly all racing drivers .
@@Lazerus2008 Agreed, I think all these people in that level need the support to be able to have a look at the top of their field. I mean, Loeb is a great driver, and has both an instinctive talent, and the experience after racing for all these years, but besides Loeb, there has to be a huge team of people designing the car, looking after the car, creating base setups for the car before the shakedowns for each rally, people analysing the data though software in order to possibly diagnose issues etc, etc... I don't think that in WRC (or at any other sport, for that matter) it is only the athletes achieving whatever they achieve, it's also these teams of people around those athletes that help the athletes succeed.
no driver is self-made at wrc level. they all had tips from experienced drivers. loeb had jesus puras and phillipe bugalski on his side when he joined wrc
Didier Auriol helped him develop his tarmac skills and meticulous pace notes preparation habits. Everyone gets mentored
Real gangster in motorsport
That was very interesting. I watched this immediately after seeing a comparison between you and Petter at Goodwood. Watching your hillclimb runs I thought you were a little fast in and slower out, and with the test you just did that was your conclusion too. Nice work bud
Men, let's talk about that entrance. 0:37
Like a fucking gangster.
THE BEST mentor you can get.
Loeb using a helicopter as a weekend motorcycle ride LOL
If it's in the Genes lad, then you are a future World Champion. Stick at it. Good Luck.
Nobody talking about anything but the fact that Loeb piloting a helicopter himself lol I too had to rewind few times at the end "Wait, is he flying that thing??"
I guess the legend doesn't and won't ever be held by traffic on road, it's just not acceptable for him.
Loeb is such a rock-star, arriving in a helicopter👍😎
