NEXT PLAYER : Pleaaaaseeee do Yegor SURIN !!!! i LOVE him. U don’t think I’ve ever seen a draft eligible forward that was THAT physical. Also has great skating, pretty good IQ / vision. Never stopping engine. High octane motor. So yeah… Curious to hear both of your take on him
I think Calgary would be a good landing spot for Freij (using the Vancouver pick) now that they're trading out all their old defensemen. He seems like a player the old Toronto regime would have loved, but with the direction they seem to be heading now, I wonder if they'd prefer someone like Badinka.
A lot of his strengths seems to come from how he blends all his skills together. You guys mentioned mostly very average skills (4-5), but then the same skills go up to 6-7 when everything is taken into account. How to these type of players project in the nhl? A lot of prospects between 15-30 usually have 1-2 very high end skills, but with clear issues in their game (Eiserman) for exemple). With Freij it is the opposite, quite good in everything skill wise, but no high end skill except his intelligence? What happens then at the nhl level? You end up with an d-man with an average shot, average/good skating, not very physical...will it work at the nhl?
He makes bad decisions in the o zone & needs improvement big time in own end if he wants to play NHL, hasn't even played SHL yet, play's J20 , mid to late 2nd
Go Jets Go
Jets got a good one
Alfons!!!! ❤❤❤ I also have him around 15-16 at the moment. Such a fun player to watch!
He’s excellent!

Today’s episode will cover Badinka and Toronto is one of the landing spots we argue would make a lot of sense!
