Great vid fella hope yah get yah truck back all fixed bet you hate the holiday tourist when travelling down tight road & little towns Hope yah boss gets you a demo R scania or daf XG have a good one fella
Not the best having to suddenly change to a different Cab and live in it. Hope you get back to normal quickly. I know the Roads aren't the best but you get some lovely areas. You can't beat the South west in the Summer. When you mentioned the Button on the floor for braking, it brought back a memory for me. When I was young, there was a switch on the floor for the headlights. That was how you changed from dipped beam to main beam and vice versa. There was no means of doing it by hand. Enjoyed your vid as usual John, always good content.
Brilliant video you were down my part of the country totnes Dartmouth have you ever been to jewson Kingsbridge that’s another great place to deliver don’t let Scot andrews here you saying bad things about the scania lol keep on trucking 👍👍
Hi John o,it was all going so well with the convoy until that point🙈that scania didn't sound great but I suppose there's nothing like your own truck, can't believe again your in my area and never seen you again as Teignmouth and Totnes isn't far from me so was good to see that and Dartmouth is definitely nit a great place to go with a truch but you made it look essy😁obviously your over a month behind on your vlogs but hopefully you didn't have that scania for to long, always love the long videos so that was good, cheers🤙👌👍
Well I sat there with my tea and biscuits and as always I bloody loved this video, thanks John-o, I think you would love the next-gen Scania especially the S and really love it if it were a 770, I did ride shotgun in a 450, demo driver wouldn’t let me have a go unfortunately but I was well impressed!! Keep up the good work and keep safe! 😀🚛
@@TruckerJohno The only problem with that might be getting around what is known as the Boat float area which is a little inner harbour for the small boats so that forms a square you have to drive around, but is definately a more direct root in so would be interested to see if you can do it next time .
Think you have a good point regarding the climate John O. At least your breakdown was not on a motorway or in the middle of some town which could have been a bit difficult. What makes us think you don,t like a Scania. Thanks so much for a great video. Stay safe and take care.
i agree with you i prefurr the daf i think the scanias are better built but i can buy 3 dafs for the price of 2 scanias there cheeeper to run daf aid is the best going if something does go wrong and theres so much more room to live in
Thank you for telling how the so called climate change is blamed for everything. Your theory’s may not not be totally accurate but I damn well support what your saying. Nice one.
Scania are the best truck mark on the market , trust me that shed you had is well outdated, the topliners and next gen r and s cabs are something else excellent build quality BUT expensive !!!!!!!Daf aid are good because they have 2 be😂😂😂😂😂😂 joking aside chin up pal 😎😎😎
Long time viewer just not a frequent commenter due to college and life. Wacthing you from across a very big pond in South Brooklyn, New York USA. As for the Scania, you poor old sod. Made my heart bleed (half joking). First, your Audi. Now your DAF AND TWICE. Your boss might need to invest in a new truck. Too many breakdowns is a sign that you need a new truck. There's a saying: With the old wine skins, it breaks you patch it. Too many pathces, the thing falls apart.
At least you did not have your cab on the road and your trailer still on the farm track. Nightmare. your reward for breaking your DAF will be a low spec Scanias 😢
Suggest ( only a suggestion ) you keep off climate change comments as things are changing much quicker than the eon timescales you conjecture as having an effect
With your theories John, which I think are really good and should be thought over, I think we should vote for you to speak to Greta Thornburgh. You never know, you might make her theory blow up!!
Great vid fella hope yah get yah truck back all fixed bet you hate the holiday tourist when travelling down tight road & little towns

Loved the climate science…..
Bleeding white van drivers.👍
What a NIGHTMARE Johno!
What a nightmare indeed
Where’s the top half of the R series where all the shelves and cupboards go? Lol
It's a low spec rental
Like you said it's bottom spec and the small cab but at least the scania will get you there unlike a daf.....
Untill the scania breaks down
They all fail at some point but after 17 years of daf and scania a dafs repair costs including downtime and depreciation trumps our scanias
I agree johno,S series are much better than Rs,hope you get your pride and joy back soon.
Rather have a Scania than a DAF 🤣🤣

He knows my opinions on the R series, no I haven't done that kingsbridge 1 yet though I'm sure I will in the future
Plus the sun is heating up by 10% every billion year
I still enjoy your videos John and stay safe out on the road 🛣️
Hey that was a caper John. I gather you don't that Scania!!!!! Take care and thanks.
Thank you John Enjoyed your video. Bet you enjoyed your night out in No man’s land Thanks again. Take care and Stay safe and safe Trucking.
Hmm Dafs, unpredictable electrics and sensors with lots of dinging. I agree with you about Scanias, never could understand all the fuss.
Enjoyed the video professor johno 😃keep the video s coming really fun tot wacth 👍😁👍

I'm sure they are good but my boss won't ever get 1 when a daf is 1 3rd the cost 😆
@@TruckerJohno perhaps just keep hinting about the new XG! 😂
I would probably still have to wait a few years for one to come up second-hand and then I won't be the first one to get one
@@TruckerJohno just put it on your wish list then!😀🚛
Really enjoy your vlogs. Hope to spot you out and about sometime :) go steady!
hey John-o, for what its worth, route in to Dartmouth is straight down the hill. When you turned right (at 1:00:30) I was like, noooooooo.
Got through with no dramas but I will go that way next time

Your mistaken..climate change isn’t about climate..it’s about becoming less dependent on fossil fuel rich countries 😮😁
Great video you gave us a good Laugh… on this one just relieved it wasn’t smell o vision while we watched you 🫢😂👍
Hi I was wounding it you like the scale HaHa dave
That's how the engine brakes all worked in my day..
Somehow I missed episode 205. Got some catching up to do now!

Like I said we definitely have a part in it but is it as much of a part as they say
👍
I dont mind the Scania, its what I learned and passed in.
Old WW2 airfield where you broke down ?
No idea its a farm now obviously

It's all personal opinion, I may change my mind if I get to spend some time in a newer 1 but I can't see that happening any time soon
Can we get a counter for how many times he says I prefer my daf
All of the times
@@TruckerJohno u should stick to Daf and try the new xg plus and xg and the new xf

Hello America 🤙 our trucks are well maintained but stuff still breaks from time to time
@@TruckerJohno I forgot to mention that you should come to America and teach science here. I much prefer you over my professors.
Yeah I'd be great I got a PHD in Google search and a diploma in youtube watching
@@TruckerJohno LMFAO!!! good one. made my day.
Are you going to get a new truck or should get own truck like the other truck driver on TH-cam
