That took me back to diabolical building sites, farms etc., steep lanes, wet leaves, 28ton of fert on the back, you know the story!! well done for getting out with only a bit of damage.
Excellent video Johno. As usual nothing fazes you as you weigh everything up. Bit of trailer damage on a job like that cant reallly be helped. Well done sir andI hope your voice is on the mend 😊😊
That location was ridiculous and the hill was steep as a MF, definitely the steepest hill I’ve seen a truck go up I thought I went some steep hill but that was something else
Hope you get better soon. You don't half go to some very awkward places with the big trailers, you deserve a medal. You don't even grumble, you just get on with it. Hope you don't loose your safe driving bonus. lol.
hi jonho, The farmer really should stipulate to the supplier than short and two axles is the biggest, Bit of an unsuitable access to a large campsite. Top marks for effort. Truck Safely
I've been driving class 1 now for 2 months and i thought i was starting to get good. It's only when i watch someone like you do it i realise just how bad i am lol. I didn't know you could straiten the trailer up by shimmying backwards and forwards like that. Well done.
Just watched this John O & top marks to you & the tractor 🚜 driver & his passenger. But I didn’t see you towards the end as you didn’t have your hi-vis on. 😂🤣🤪😜🤡🤬🤬🤡😂🤣🤪😜 & I hope you feel better really soon Buddy. 👍
You might not be able to use the engine breaking on it's own but you do also have the emergency brake which you can use in conjunction with the engine brake. The emergency brake isn't just on or off but can be used in degrees. UK drivers don't get trained to use the emergency brake as part of usual breaking
Also torque against speed. Diesel engines have immense torque you don't have to whelly trucks to get out of difficult situations use the torque of the engine to keep on going, harder with automatics but not impossible
Yeah but torque is no good without traction, I needed momentum but couldn't get enough in 1st and it wouldn't let me change up, manual would have been king there
Puzzled why didnt the farm just throw a chain round the post and remove it Used to get similar nonsense back in my day with 20T fertilizer on a drawbar " well we got an artic in ok last week "!! Ps didn't hear you dump all ur air ? Can u still do that on modern trucks ? Had to do that on an old twin steer merc ' 33 on sutton valence hill in kent loaded with scrap rail line.
The post is still used for a gate so they need it, if I dumped all the air out then my bakes wouldn't release, or do you mean on the airbags? It wouldn't have made much difference as my midlift axel was already up if it lowered the air then the midlift would be on the ground and take weight off the drive axel
You naughty boy 😂 deduction from yer days wages haha. International rescue saves the day! Good job that white haired guy didn't see you hit his fence post, he was giving you daggers when you were completing your 2.3 million point turn in his yard😂
That took me back to diabolical building sites, farms etc., steep lanes, wet leaves, 28ton of fert on the back, you know the story!! well done for getting out with only a bit of damage.
Yeah I definitely wouldn't have got out of there if I was heavy

I think I've been up steeper but at least had momentum where this time I didn't
Another great vlog pal.. tight lanes steep incline worst nightmare mate .. thank god for a tractor 🚜
I'd be there still now if he wasn't there
@@TruckerJohno I could tell pal wheel spin central not good 👍🏻
What ever you get payed its not enough tight spot 😊
I'd always take more money

Sometimes even when customers do the message doesn't always get passed on
That Was Tight But You Just Carried On Without Fuss Good On You Take It Easy.
Lucky you got help. What a place to get too, Take care Johno,
Just another day at the office

All come with practice over time so keep it up
as long as your driving youralways going to learn m8
So true
Gordon Bennet John, that was tricky. Thanks for sharing, hope you are felling better. The site looked interesting too. Take care.
Was a bit snug
Great video , imagine doing that run in the middle of winter
Ha no chance luckily they only run as a camp for 6 to 8 weeks in the summer, nice place though and fantastic views
Just one of those things Johno, you can't win them all and that delivery was certainly one not to be done with a 45 foot trailer in tow,..
Just watched this John O & top marks to you & the tractor 🚜 driver & his passenger. But I didn’t see you towards the end as you didn’t have your hi-vis on.
😂🤣🤪😜🤡🤬🤬🤡😂🤣🤪😜
& I hope you feel better really soon Buddy. 👍
Very tricky condition of the lane you did you're best mate
I certainly tried my best
Amazing video. Hope feeling better soon pal
Yeah all good now thanks
Well done to those men help ya 👏👏
Hi John-o, with the miles you cover, it's going to happen at some point . Get well soon 👍
Yeah and it will happen again
A sort of day where a very tight delivery sorts the men from the boys, not a sort of job you want every day.👍
It certainly tests your skills
A very good Thursday evening to you all
Yep
You know next time not to take 45ft trailer. Thanks for the entertainment, hope you voice gets better.
Yeah I said to my boss maybe tranship onto the urban for that 1
john i felt 4 you im in and out farms all week but ive got a tag axle and front lift on the trailer makes hell of a diferance in tight spots
I imagine it does
Great video, hope you feel better soon
Thanks all better now
Great video johno 😊

Night John a.okx Thanks

You said damage Thought you'd pulled the running bar completely of bit of gaffer tape be right as rain
I hate damaging things especially when it's not ours
Your Voice!!!!! 😂😂😂😂
It literally hurt to make this video
Ask your boss to invest in a Chinook 🚁😉
Thats an idea, wonder how much they can lift 🤔
@@TruckerJohno Around 20 tonnes !
Be ok if i was empty then
Shit happens. Know next time
Indeed
Let's go
I came I saw I did some damage I left
@@TruckerJohno Typical Johno
All that hassle just for a load of hippy campers for one month in August
You naughty boy 😂 deduction from yer days wages haha. International rescue saves the day! Good job that white haired guy didn't see you hit his fence post, he was giving you daggers when you were completing your 2.3 million point turn in his yard😂
He was watching his wooden fence post for me, he was good to be fair told him about the metal post when he unhitched from me he didn't mind
