The first scene reminded me of the time when Durge also fantasize about hacking the 'Dream Visitor's hand' when they first met. 😂 I finally get why they are so obsessed with hands, it's a Tribunal thing?
Even if the rest of the party finds Astarion shifty they all like his style and hair, even Lae'Zel likes his sexual prowess, and the guys keeps saying he looks nice and has nice hair. XD
you don't really gain anything by playing as Tav but you do lose something when you play as Durge then go back to playing as Tav. Durge's back story, the "deathstalker mantle" cape, special Durge dialogue options and the relationships in the team feel more balanced since Durge has their own baggage that the companions can help them through. its not a one sided relationship where Tav is a therapist to everyone and has nothing else going on in their life. Durge is also especially good when you romance Astarion since they're sort of going through the same thing with their toxic abusive parental/authority figures physically controlling their bodies like meat puppets.
eh, I really didn't find Durge that much more "full" than Tav. actually....... correction, most of the stuff Durge was involved in, even on a redemption path, was really damn annoying. most of the environmental interactions just plain made me sick.
@@Alforbia you can still save alfira and get the potent robe if you use a non-lethal attack on her and knock her out then trigger the Dark urge cut scene. you can force trigger the scene by crossing the bridge that leads to the blighted village. you know you've triggered the scene when you see the game autosaves as you're crossing. you can now rest and then a different bard(Quil Grootslang) will show up in Alfira's place. Alfira will not acknowledge what happened the next morning or in Act 2 and you can still save lakrissa and get the robe. However in the epilogue, Alfira will send you a letter at the end of the game during Wither's party thanking you. she found out some time later after that you were a bhaalspawn and says that she saw murder in your eyes when you knocked her out, so she now knows that you knocked her out to save her her from yourself. she gets a happy ending! RIP Quil Grootslang though

hard to go back to normal Tav after playing Durge once 'cause of the lore/NPC interactions/epilogue
