The early parts of this show were so...romantic (in the adventurous sort of way). I want more moments of the Straw Hats as a crew. Nowadays, they’re constantly fighting high-level enemies and worrying about the Yonko and World Government. I just want some more episodes/chapters of them messing around and celebrating victory on their ship together. Maybe after they defeat Kaido we’ll get some more.
Emanuel Henrique Since I watched the anime, ads and all, it burned me out. After binging from Romance Dawn to Thriller Bark, I took a two year break. Then I came back and I absolutely love post-Sabaody One Piece. Being able to see new versions of the Straw Hats after the time skip was like rediscovering the show. Also, the situation with Ace really reinvigorated my interest in the show. However, I still reminisce about how romantic it was when I first watched it. The music and atmosphere were so calming and joyous, even when I wasn’t enjoying what I was seeing.

The Franky family forced luffy to take their bro who was wanted by the government after ennies lobby had a bounty and helped them save robin...luffy otherwise would have let him stay..also he camw aboard on his own principle of wanting his Speedo back and he wanted a ship that could sail across the world and he stayed to make sure they didnt ruin his ship...he wasnt forced
Asmosis Jones they really needed a shipwright, even if Luffy would maybe left him to stay, Franky's position is vital to Sunny's maintenance, poor Usopp has had enough
Man, I hope Johnny and Yosaku come back one day. They fit into the early crew so well, even though you knew they weren't gonna be main crew members. I hope they show up to support Zoro at some point

Almost every other character that travels with the straw hats ends up serving some key purpose either in the immediate plot or some future plot or they become recurring characters for the series Johnny and Yosaku are the only exceptions I can think of. They did literally nothing except serve as occasional info dumps. I think Yosaku told them about Jinbei.
I love how One Piece has a lot of characters who appear stereotypically gruff and manly, but are actually really earnest and wholesome in their personalities. The chefs at Baratie fit that to a tee.
God as great as this scene is I find it so funny that Yosaku and Johnny were basically honorary Straw Hats here. Johnny was so happy that they found a cook just like Luffy lmao

I just noticed that the early episodes of one piece felt alot like 1950's movies. with the soundtrack and the animation style. It was hard for me to get into it all those years ago at first, but after I started watching and appreciating older movies around that time... I guess that's where I came round.

Man, This Arc Made me Fall in Love with One Piece. And Rereading made me fall in Love with Sanji as a Character. This got me hooked and I wanted more. It used to be something to do to get my friend to stop Bugging me about it ,but after Baratie I kept watching and got better and BETTER.

Sanji couldn't light his cigarette just like he couldn't when Pudding broke his heart. Luffy wouldn't accept Sanji as his cook unless he asked himself just like he wouldn't help Momonosuke unless he asked for it himself. I love One Piece so much!

Man, This Arc Made me Fall in Love with One Piece. And Rereading made me fall in Love with Sanji as a Character. This got me hooked and I wanted more. It used to be something to do to get my friend to stop Bugging me about it ,but after Baratie I kept watching and got better and BETTER.
