As regards Gardevoir's Charizard matchup, it's actually pretty favored if you play Devo and double Munkidori. You can set up damage with Flutter Mane and double Munkidori, and then use TM:Devo to wipe their board. There's nothing they can do after that. And Dusclops will only make that line easier. You can do similar things against Chien-Pao and the mirror. Because of this, I think that double TM:Devo is very strong in the deck going into Worlds. Furthermore, to combat the rise of Jamming Tower, I think Hyper Aroma is optimal. It prevents the turn 1 Jamming Tower into brick scenario, and makes the deck more consistent. Also, to combat Jamming Tower, one Nest Ball should almost certainly be cut for a second Artazon.

Imagine being a top player and having to use a "gentlemen's agreement" because either the format is too slow or your a clock dr. cant wait to sit in my computer chair and watch a bunch of 1-0's all the way through worlds, it will be such entertaining content for everyone /s

Sad that pokemon and yu gi oh have the same problem for anything above the local level regarding time. Games take too long and top 8 is still timed in 2024. TPCI needs to go untimed top 8 and judges should be 100% on top of slow players. I thought pokemon was out of the shadow of being known as the game where players game the clock and it sucks to see that it hasnt changed after hearing about the problems years ago. Cant wait to watch worlds top 8 and see a bunch of garbage sudden death bo3's because players refuse to actually play the game at a reasonable pace.

Agree that people need to increase pace of play, but the solution isn’t untimed matches. That’d be miserable for both players and viewers, time management is an important part of competitive play in every game/sport
