Thank you, Shaakira White, for this very eye-opening video. Until I watched your video, I had no idea that Abraham Lincoln ever made such racist comments. And, he made them publicly, too. As a young person in my 20s, I performed the first flute part in a magnificent orchestral work by Aaron Copland called "A Lincoln Portrait." The work has a narrator who quotes Abraham Lincoln. None of the quotes chosen for that work sounded in any way racist. I play recordings of that piece of music these days, especially when Independence Day rolls around. It looks like President Lincoln could not even imagine that one day the U.S.A. would have a First Lady who is the descendant of slaves.

What I never understood about Lincoln emancipation proclamation of slaves in the south is. He didn't have that athorith to do that. Because the south at that time was a separate country. The C.S.A. and if the south had won the war. The slaves would not be freed.

The south didn't have the industrial and manufacturing capabilities to launch a war against the union.

And this is why his soul is on fire till this day Abraham Lincoln vampire slayer the movie. Made it seem like he was a good guy with a blk best friend.. and that definitely wasn't happening. These movie producers try to change narratives in movies of real lifetime people. And that flag isnt the real flag for Junenteenth. The colors are red white and blue.

It sounds like from what you've saying is. The north should have offered a way out of the south. A transport to anywhere they wanted to go. The US did the iraq people the same way. Bush senor with draw the US troops. And lefted the people high and dry to fin for themselves. They helped the US push Saddam out of Kuwait. And told the people of Iraq to keep fighting for your right and freedom from Saddam. But we didn't give them any help. No backup. Unfortunately the US haves a history of doing that. That's way a lot of people in other countries don't trust us. We get them to rebell. And to war. Than we leave. Like in Afghanistan.

If Abraham Lincoln actually did say all of that white supremacist b.s., did his debate opponent manipulate him into saying it? If Lincoln was speaking extemporaneously when he said those racist things, who wrote them down? I am assuming that all of Lincoln's speeches were written down in his own handwriting, and that is how scholars and historians can prove that they are authentic.

The myth about slaveholders always beating and whipping their slaves is false! It is true that if a slave tried to run away or back talk to his master he would get disciplined. Other than that, they would not be harmed. Why would a slaveholder want to injure one of his workers when if he did so he would not be able to work. That would be exactly like a farmer wrecking his tractor on purpose. Think about that, because The Lies We have been told over the years just do not make sense.
