Tammy Peterson: The power of the Rosary and why she is becoming Catholic

  • In 2019 Tammy Peterson sat in a doctor's office where she heard the words 'You have cancer.' The doctor told her, and husband Jordan Peterson, that this rare type of Kidney cancer had a 0% survival rate and she had just ten months to live.
But it was while in hospital that Tammy was visited by a friend who gave her a pair of rosary beads and offered to pray with her. Incredibly, today Tammy Peterson is cancer-free, defying what all the medical experts said upon her diagnosis. In this interview you will hear her explain what she thinks happened.
Tammy sat down with EWTN reporter Colm Flynn at her home in Toronto for this one-on-one interview.

I will include her in my prayers as of today. Today marks one year of my mother's heart surgery, brainstroke and coma as a result. We prayed the Rosary every day by her while she was in coma for 2 months and then when she came home. We are grateful to the Lord and our Holy Mary for her intercession as my mother went from no chance to regaining a few abilities, which she continues to regain today, bit by bit. It has been a jorney of pain but peace and joy as well. She prays the Rosary everyday. Be strong and trust the Lord. May you have peace in your journey.

@@lestercarvin4422 I don't believe objects have powers. All power comes from God. I have my grandmother's rosary and I cherish it. I don't pray w/ it, because I'm not Catholic, but it's lovely to have to be reminded of her, and to know that she often prayed w/ it, and to think, sometimes she would be praying for me. There is a lot of love and something very special in sentimental objects, that link us to loved ones as well.

You said yourself that you are not a Roman Catholic.
Roman Catholics believe that sacred relics have power.
They also believe that putting up a crucifix will keep demons away.

When my second husband was in the ICU with liver failure, they took him to surgery to try and stop the bleeding. It was late at night and I was alone there. I said Hail Marys, over and over as I waited. He didn't make it but it helped me get through it. I say the rosary every day now and will also become Catholic this Easter.

May God bless you and welcome to the church! So sorry for the loss of your husband. There are so many rosary miracles out there so do keep praying it. Our world certainly needs prayer! Look into the 1917 Miracle of the Sun in Fatima Portugal. Our Lady of Fatima asked us to pray the rosary daily, among other things. I pray three rosaries daily and it has brought many graces into our lives. Jesus, Mary I love you save souls!

My doctors had told my husband “only so much can be done”. The second I recovered, I saw big, white, 4 foot high letters spelling GOD in front of my eyes. The only thought I had in my head was God. Yes prayers to our God/ Creator can work! BUT nowhere in my Bible can I find praying to God's Mom, or any God other than the one/ Jesus Christ, who was crucified and died, then rose from the dead, to save our souls from sin! If you can believe John 14:6? I.e. Jesus answered, “I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me." I.e. not mother Mary! Besides praying to our God/ Creator for cancer cure I'd recommend the Joe Tippens cancer protocol I.e. fenbendazole! For Coved, use the ivermectin? I.e. both hated by Satan inspired, 5 billion in fruad fines, I.e. the *250K, to *800K iatrogenic death industry, I.e. Big evil Pharma! (*see the Johns Hopkins iatrogenic study. * see the book, Death by Medicine by Dr. Null!) And don't pray or worship to Big Pharma!

The Lord's Supper is to commemorate Christ's Death on the Cross.
      You seem confused
The Lord Jesus, on the night before he suffered on the cross, shared one last meal with his disciples. During this meal our Savior instituted the sacrament of his Body and Blood. He did this in order to perpetuate the sacrifice of the Cross throughout the ages and to entrust to the Church a memorial of his death and resurrection. The Institution of the Eucharist is written down in the four Gospels below:
      Matthew 26:26-30

I was diagnosed with breast cancer 4 weeks ago and Im 34 with 2 small children and husband. My heart broke the day I found out, but Im starting to learn that I needed this challenge from god. I had been asking god all last year to help me get closer to him, but I kept procrastinating on everything to do with him. One of my New Years resolutions was to finally get closer to god. Well I woke up with the mass in January and it was literally one day to another. I didn’t understand how could this happen, but I have done more for god and my relationship with him in the last 4 weeks then I ever did in my 34 years of life. I feel at peace, filled and surrounded by love and support, and I know this is all thanks to him. All my young adult life, I held on to alot of anger, resentment and hate due to childhood experiences. Well, that same week that I found out about this, I realized all that was sinking me and god was telling me to finally release it. I began my healing process that week from the soul of forgiveness. This has been the best decision ever because it has helped me feel loved, peaceful and mend so many relationships that had been broken over years.
Im thankful to god for this because I know hes helping me turn into the women I always knew I could be. ❤

We can take up our cross and follow Him with our Rosaries. It is the Life of Jesus and our life too when we follow Him. Praise God for her miraculous healing. Praying the Holy Rosary brings so many tangible benefits, that for some people it's very hard to believe. Until you do it yourself!. I was having horrible nightmares for many months, and I even shared with my Mom what was happening. Then I watched a video about how the demons manifest in people's lives, the video described that recurrent grotesque nightmares were a symptom of demonic attacks. We have a family member who practices santeria and we know she directs it at my Mom, myself and my siblings.
Then I found a TH-cam channel in which the Holy Rosary is prayed every day , so I bought one and started praying along until I memorized the prayers again (in Spanish and Latin). I can happily say that the nightmares are long gone, among other benefits. I am so glad that praying the Holy Rosary has saved Mrs Peterson's life!

Back in March 2020, I got covid and flu. After 10 days at home, my condition deteriorated so bad I was taken to the hospital. But, from day one, I asked all my Catholic groups to pray for me. My friends started tagging my social media about my condition. Happens that I have lots of priests and nuns in my media and I started having health petitions in many parishes. During Mass at my parish the petition for my health was present everyday.
After 5 days in the hospital, I was placed in induced coma and in the ventilator. All my organs started failing and my oxigen level kept going down. The doctors wanted to prepare my family for my death. Meanwhile, God told me, "It's not your time." On one of Jesus visits he told me, "I'm healing every organ in your body.
After covid left my body I still had the flu. I was in coma for seven weeks. Doctors told my husband that I was going to spend the rest of my life in a wheel chair and had lungs and kidney problems.
All my organs healed perfectly and I only used the wheel chair in the hospital. Prayer is powerful !!!
    Blessings to all!

That was so interesting. She revealed just enough to get me started on my return trip to Catholicism as I face a very similar diagnostic situation in my own life, seeking God's intervention. I was raised Catholic, but the emphasis was always on a kind of loyalty to Team Catholic, not a profound faith in God. It was loyalty to the rules, structure, ceremony and humans who ran the institution, with some of the latter severely mentally compromised. I needed an anchor but the institution gave me only a team shirt, so to speak, which was useless in life, and a bad fit. One size fits none. I will pray the rosary and hope for a similar connection to the unseen, the anchor, below the rough sea of life, that I always wanted and needed in my life and felt was hidden by all the pomp and fluff, the cruelty, and the arrogant ignorance of my earlier Catholic experience. Thank you, Tammy, for your brave testimony.❤ I will pray for your continued good health and ask that you pray for me. God bless you.
