@ObiwanNekody I think the current art really does sell it as this massive missile carrier, it looks blocky and heavy, fitting for a 70-ton war machine!
I really like the Archer. But I also really hate rear facing weapons, or rather, I really hate not being allowed the option to change the facing of the weapon without a house rule.
@@readwatchlisten2863 That is a rather silly part of the ruleset, I do admit. Pretty much everyone I've played with on the table is cool with changing the facing, and at least rulewise, it's a Mod that doesn't effect BV so far as I understand it, but the fact that it's technically a modification to a stock variant is a little silly, I agree.
The Archer is one of the mechs that I dislike the older artwork of but really like the current design and sculpt.

changing the weapon facing is like the easiest modification to a battlemech. rules wise

@thevoiceofiron my game group is perfectly fine with changing the facing. However, there is a game near me that wasn't cool with that. 🤷♂️
