Catherine I used strawberry pie filling and strawberry frosting to make a Strawberry Cream cake. I slightly chopped the strawberries in the pie filling, and I put thawed frozen sliced strawberries on to to make pretty. This was absolutely delicious. I think you can be very creative with this recipe maybe even try chocolate next.

Just baked this cake, March 8, 2024, and was utterly blown over! Talk about outstanding, easy to do, not overly expensive, super moist and utterly delicious. I always put my eggs in the mixing bowl first in case there are shell fragments... Then add all the other ingredients.

You can keep it frozen until ready to use then thaw.
