The song comes from their album "Everything Harmony" released last year. Its a very tender, almost hypnotic album one of the best soft rock albums in years.
I discovered this great song today, and I found that it has a lot of bolero influence. That's the latin american touch that you've heard, maybe... I want to try to cover this tune on that style...
Not that Bolero...I mean the style bolero...cuban music...Beatles did it too...Besame mucho, Do you want to know a secret, And I love her..etc... This tune is a bolero to me...
I really didn't like this coming to it without previous experience of the band. The falsetto vocals were strained to me and the searching after older styles left me thinking they would be better left buried. I much prefer bands that add something fresh into the older influences, like The High Llamas, I recommend Bade Amey from this year's Hey Panda.
They are both very dynamic musical singers and they shift in and out of falsetto seamlessly akin to Brian Wilson, who happens to be their hero.
For sure. Thanks for watching.

Ah, Bolero. Maurice Ravel and I have the same birthday. Good luck with adapting the song.
nice reaction to a talented group! I highly recommend listening/reacting to some tunes off their latest album, "A Dream Is All We Know"
Yes, I want to do that.

That's fair. I added your suggestion to my spreadsheet. Take care.
