Okay, since this gent really appreciated Lamoille I'll tell him a local secret the guide may not know.
At 24:30 he mentions snow on the side of the mountain, that's the northern side. it gets the least sunlight. In July you'll find snow going all the way to the water. Bring your sled or inflatable bed and ride it into the lake.
