I really like the show but Emily did not look good. There where some nice pieces throughout the show but something always ruined the outfit: wearing two bags, cliché accessories, too many colors and prints mixed together and way to many luxury brands. I hope they'll tone it down next season!

The cast is not good, I’m sure she is a good actress, but they really need someone like Sarah Jessica Parker, not perfect face but perfect body to rock the clothes .

When I moved to France, I expected that everybody was going to be on the top of the fashion, but the truth is, people have more important things to do than always being ready for the fashion week.
That’s literally the point 😂 your use of “cliché” literally described the character. The WHOLE point of the show is that it’s told from the POV of an American girl who has an over romantic view of Paris (and trust me, I know many American girls like this + who dress in a similar away - aka every girls on tiktok)
I think it’s almost hilarious after all the critique, especially after all the critique about costume design, the show got, Netflix still throws 'The Best Fashion in Emily in Paris' at us.

The fashion represents her. It’s messy and wild and a bit out of touch for Paris which is what she is. We might start to see her mature style as she lives in Paris and grows

Her outfits, while cute, didn't really match her personality and was too try hard. It doesn't make me take her seriously. And seriously, what city girl who lived in Chicago dresses like that?! The fashion in Gossip Girl were wayyy more iconic. This show lacks so much substance, only Sylvie's character was worth watching.

I loved this show.
Best and only show i watched till the end.
I think the costumes in every other show look better, fit the characters, actually make sense (why does she have a whole wardrobe of Chanel if she isn’t even interested in fashion and especially couldn’t even afford the pieces) and show character development.
Well it does make sense that her clothes don’t show character development because she doesn’t change or grow like at all, even tho she’s the protagonist and main character.
