you know those small tubes you can crouch in ? we need a door for that in case you want to use those tubes as a ventilation system across the ship, you can shut down a section so air does not leak out/shut down air production because of air tightness/pressure low that would mean for every door section you need a smaller door so you can cut off the gap.
I like this. Plus they would act as sluice gates for water once that comes
New engineer here, first started playing on SE 2 and I absolutely love it. I had to jump back to SE 1 to see what the last game had to offer, now I’m 30 hours in and loving it. I’m extremely excited to see what you guys are going to bring to SE 2
honestly had no idea Arron started working at Keen as community manager, good on you Arron, though i do sorta miss the LSG pvp content. Arron having direct involvement could mean lots of pew pew fun to be had in space engineers 2 and i look forward to that as I tend to do mostly military builds.
If you didn't point it out I would have been oblivious for a while longer O.o
The moment I saw your comment I recognized his voice.
if they make the performance really good we may finally see nice base and ship large enough to have good inside.
This must be a secret, the sound is so low that they come across as whispering. Either that or they're miming
In Dual Universe we had what were called Voxel kits. Someone would sell a blueprint that was just a bunch of modular pieces you could copy paste out.
I think making modular corridors could be made even easier if in the GUI, you can order the functional blocks based on most recently placed with a timer or a marker for recently placed blocks such as lights. Would allow people to know which light sets were recently placed making it easier to grab and group the right amount of lights in large ships.
One of my biggest struggles in SE1 was grouping the correct lights on a large ship when it could have over 100 light blocks placed around the ship.
Yeah, the lights could be a pain. I pretty much always label lights the moment I am convinced on their placement
Is inverse mouse supported yet? Really keen (excuse the pun) to jump in but I can't play without invert support
Love a good corridor, me.
3:30 I’m sort of in the rotors and pistons camp. I bought the prerelease to give support but haven’t played at all yet. Once the rotors and pistons are there I’ll take off time from work dive deep into Klang summoning.
My computer already struggles some with SE1 and I prefer survival, so I will also be waiting as well. Building is fun, but I can't play a game where you cant use your builds for any practical reason
I love SE! Goodluck with the game! but must say I always wished there was a mode where it would play like the game: Crossout, but with SE physics and building, I think it would be awesome to have a point based ship, deathmatch mode where you can spawn in with your self pre-designed ship and 5v5 pvp like in crossout. Matchmaking based on parts used. Always dreamed of something like this in SE to make it more casual, so we can enjoy SE pvp with our own ships, without having to invest hundreds of hours and being part of a custom game or SEdiscord or somthing, just hop into pvp with your ship from the hangar and have ramming, blasting, destruction epicness, I think it would help make it more approachable for players who don't want to play survival or creative but still love building/battlling with ships etc! ❤
When water gets added, pumps will need to be added
Is it possible to place a block on the slope side of a slope block?
It doesn't seem to be possible now, but that would be amazing! I struggle to make smooth builds when trying to fit pieces of the SE jigsaw blocks together
Based on the outlines from build mode, I doubt it
They should add variable thickness pipes with curves
The volume has been quite low on these videos
Mechanical blocks are beyond necessary for builders, which seems to be the target of these early releases. Given that they are not mentioned in the Roadmap, can we expect these as a surprise drop alongside other slices? Or are these blocks truly not planned to be implemented until after Water, Multiplayer etc? Same goes for functioning weapons. I am beyond excited for the future of this franchise, and even without such crucial functions I bought the game and am strapped in for the long haul. Maybe you could clarify those questions for us? it would go a long way towards shutting up a few of the more unnecessarily vocal naysayers
I could be wrong, but I think Xocliw mentioned that those mechanical blocks are supposed to be somewhere in either VS1 or VS2.
@ Fabulous, thank you!
Small reactor please small ships don’t feel right without them
Uhm...it's "community builds", not "community build's" 🤣😂🤣😂
Pedantry
@@Ok_Thanks Actual typo. Or misinformation. Or knowledge gap. Not irrelevant. Not negligible.
12 minutes to show off 3 different things, one of them not even being an actual build. The game might be optimized, but the streams don't seem to be.
FIRST!
Sigma
That grammar should embarrass you.
Probably Xocliw
Devs could make it up to the community by adding VR Support.
Make up for what..?
Make up for the poor grammar? 🤣😂
