HELLDIVERS™ 2 is a 3rd person squad-based shooter that sees the elite forces of the Helldivers battling to win an intergalactic struggle to rid the galaxy of the rising alien threats. From a 3rd person perspective, players use a variety of weapons (pistols, machine guns, flamethrowers) and stratagems (turrets, airstrikes, etc.) to shoot and kill the alien threats. Players can also aim down the sights for a more accurate 1st person camera view. Combat is accompanied by frequent sprays of blood and dismemberment as players exterminate the alien forces or players and squad mates are hit by environmental explosions or friendly fire. Enemy encampments and battlefield environments depict bloodstains and dismembered corpses.

I love helldivers, I love Johan takes full accountability and works to solve the problems. The game has been out for 3 months it’s a bigger hit then anyone could have predicted and I love it. I’m completely invested in this game so I’m excited to see Helldivers in another 3 months from now

Just one thing to comment they brushed under the rug in the interview, all the countries without PSN are still delisted, I highly doubt Sony is going to lose this in the long run. They are going to probably rotate incentives and eventually make it a requirement once the game is not as popular.
This seems like a standard C suite press release. Translation : We let the community have too much creative control and got bullied by them due to our inexperience, this will not happen going forward. We still love you PSN, sorry uwu. We are organizing our talent pool to handle the riggers of this new environment, preferably without added head count. We currently have enough funding to not need to go public and pursue our own creative endeavors, for now.
I'm glad they are refocusing on deliverables, even though I dislike the current state of the game. As far as the position change, it can been seen in two ways, A. This wasn't his wheel house and he hired on someone who is competent in the role, or He was competent in the role but doesn't trust his current teams to deliver on his dream of the game.

Now to say about steam running their anticheat reporting system.. guess what.. siny is the moderator and in section 6 of steam (who we share data with ( which I pointed out at the beginning) is the moderator.. the moderator aka publisher has been sony... so it's lawyer talk and sony already had your data.. hence the linking is mandatory... to use steam as a side moderator you are adding a 3rd party with more chances of breach of data.. considering over 120 million people data got hacked in steam already.
So the pc crowd will cheer like it's a victory when sony still got what it wanted..

I love accidently exploding my buddy upon re-entry. He does not like it as much as I do tho. Or when I am trying to kill the bugs chasing my team and I happen to use the Arc thrower so it just fries them....and kills the bugs! I have had some fun times playing this game and I hope things get straightened out so we can enjoy this game for a long time!
i just hope that the de-listed country will be brought back, they don't have any reasons now ,so bring back our brothers and sisters !

By "brought back" you mean playing or buying ?
Because Helldiver 2 only retrict you from buying on de-listed country not playing, i'm from vietnam and still playing daily or they already added vietnam to there list then oh well.

@@locmorningstar2740 i mean for what i know in vietnam it's Steam that blocked the ability to buy / activate the game in those territories (good for you if it's not.) ... but for my point it would be that everyone is able to buy / activate the game in the 180 countries that is curently blocked for no reasons...

I loved the game when I bought it and I hope they can get the game back to that level of fun. I am worried the whole game is going to feel like the railgun. Just a murky memory of what it once was. But i hope for the best and I hope some day soon we can have a wonderful game full of divers from around the world diving together.
I have to use ALT+F4 to close the game otherwise it locks up my PC (for democracy?)

We need to know when the REAL veterans of jumping into hell can join
One problem i encounter every time i play. Atleast once out of the three times. Either myself or fellow divers end up timing/lagging out of the game at the end of a mission. My screen freezes really bad and its either me or them that had an issue. All the grind for 20/30 minutes is for nothing. I dont get why there are still issues like this.
HA well there's a lot of former Blizzard employees who would love to be adopted by Arrow Head right now.

Wait, Sony backtracked the requirement? Is that the requirement of the PSN account, or the countries banned from buying it, like they requested amid the start of the backlash? Last I checked it was still banned in over 160 countries due to them still not reversing the decision.

Sounds like Sony is a great partner for them to have, they've always been good about managing high level talent. A lot of the best developers in the industry is at Sony.
I wish the best for arrowhead, they deserve to see success, it's unfortunate and shameful that one of their hurdles is literally toxic gamers.

It’s too late… and I doubt they will change much. If they wanted the game to be different it would be. And they can stop using success as an excuse. One playing or 10 million, doesn’t affect their bad decisions. I’ve stopped playing, just lost interest. Friendly fire is the reason why most don’t want to go 4 man, it will kill the game.

this game desperately needed some sort of campaign, weather it was one decent one or short ones for each planet, all this game is u fight the same fucking enemies , the same objectives just on different planets, there is nothing new on each planet, the game is just stale !!!
