What you said about the gap year thing is SO true I was rushing and kind of didn't look at anything else other than what I wanted to do at the moment. I feel like taking a gap year gives you an entire year to take up jobs, volunteer opportunities, etc where you can just involve yourself in so many different environments and situations that lets you find things you really like rather than just what you think you do in your head
I'm a new subscriber, this is only the second video of yours that I've watched. I relate to you SO much, it's crazy, in terms of being anxious, indecisive, and having faith. I just wanted to say that it's encouraging to hear that even though you will not continue with uni & may not work in a psychology field, you have peace. I'm still figuring this out myself (I'm a psych student who is not sure if I want to be a counselor as of recently).

I am currently in year 11 and I’m starting to think about what I want to do after school and I’ve always wanted to pursue psychology but now I’m not so sure. I’ve also always felt a calling in my life from God about my TH-cam channel and using it to pursue Him 😊💛 just wanted to say thank you for making this video Rachel because I think this is God speaking to me through your video 😂😍
Have you considered doing something theology based next year? In my first year out of high school I did a theology course designed for young adults. It had a big focus on faith formation and knowing who you are - it’s called NEXT. Honestly it was the best thing I’ve done and it changed my life. It’s in Melbourne but other things like this exist too :)
I’ve definitely considered it!! I think I just want at least a year away from study (obviously I’ll do my own learning, reading and researching on my own), I just want a bit of a break! But it’s definitely something I’ll look into in the future ✨💕
