I' have a horrible wrist that was broken (navicular bone at 19 years old) and has limited movement (I'm 63). I'm almost afraid to change to the Mako. I have been using Flexx Bars for almost 20 years now on all my off road bikes (XR 650R, KTM300, Beta 498). I have the blue compression and yellow rebound. They are a ride saver for longer days in the saddle.

At first I didn't feel like the Mako360 was doing much. Then it sort of broke in and was okay, until it really loosened up and caused subtile control issues ..

Were you tying the bike down by the bars? That stress will cause rapid polymer wear. Luv my Mako!

Never, my bikes get tired down at the foot pegs.
I never got along with the Mako360 even before the polymers wore out it didn't feel like it did anything.

I still have never ridden a bike with any of the gumby bar solutions. :) Maybe it's saving me money by not trying them. 😂

Im old(er) and I need to ease the beating and fatigue on my hands and arms as much as I can because of the work I do. For me some kind of Gumby is a must 😉. They are expensive and might hamper a little bit of feel/control. So if you don't need them spend your money on something else,😉

I think you’re the first one to prefer the flex bars over the Mako 360. Interesting.

Maybe.... I don't know if having "cush" in the steering directions is a good idea. I could have tried softer polymers but they would have worn even faster and I'm not going to be buying new ones every 15 -20hours 😶

Definitely the polymer placement on the Mako 360 is a negative. I’m still on the fence. Thanks for sharing.
