16:40 Good speed 16:45 Okay, maybe time to slow down 16:48 Definitely too fast 16:51 See? Told ya, you're too fast. 1:17:45 The M/NGT6 in its many variants is still some of the best that streetcars and light rail ever offered. Great sounds, sadly now approaching their limit and getting replaced, including metro stock like the c651 in Singapore that share many components and make a similar sound
@@nicolasblume1046 judging by the clearly audible sound of the magnet emergency brakes slamming onto the rail I'd say he was a little too fast and had to stop quite abruptly
@@chickenpommes19 Yeah, just by hearing the emergency magnets hitting the rail really made me think that he was obviously going too fast, lol. Plus this is the first time I've heard the CR4000 Tram actually do an emergency stop because in the UK our Trams are monitored by a computer which the CR4000 trams have now due to an accident that happened years ago, so if you where go too fast in a certain speed restriction then the tram will slow down, and if your going above the speed limit then the tram will slow down, so are CR4000 Trams are very up to date with there systems and won't be replaced either.
Good Video, sadly all interurban/"heavy rail" segments are not represented :( (would have made this video 3 hours long probably) incredible having such a network that even 90 minutes are not enough to represent it fully, its a massive thing
@Pegagit There clearly the same thing but ours are slightly refurbished and upgraded but there literally the same model and ours are just single not coupled up.
I live in bonn! If money was available the network would be much larger btw, lot of plans (and my personal multi billion way of executing them is even grander) just in the bonn area
no, for everything except long distance trains like the ice (bus, tram, regional train) you pay for the distance you travel no matter which one you take
As someone from cologne I recognized probably 90% of the stations myself, but it would still help a lot. Though often you can find the station names in the stations themselves somewhere

it was not too fast ;) the platforms are 90m long and the trains are just 60m long

nah~ it's the normal sound they make :)
@@BusTrainsGuy20 Interesting. So Croydon is keeping their CR4000s. Cologne is planning to phase them out by 2025

very good video from cologne.
Hi Huey can you also drive the Rotterdam metro
Hi, is it true that the tram from Colgne to Bonn is cheaper than a regional train? I don't care if it takes twice as long to get there. Thanks.
no, for everything except long distance trains like the ice (bus, tram, regional train) you pay for the distance you travel no matter which one you take
And nowadays you just get the Deutschlandticket for 49€ a month to travel on all German non-intercity trains
You'd have to Pay a good 10bucks in the App but U doubt it. 5€ max with an Einzelticket
Great video!
Gaaf spoornet daar! Mooie stations. Leuke lange compilatie
Very nice video!
Amazing video. Very comprehensive. Could you show station names on the screen on the next video like this one?

Ich finde es eher noch schlimmer dass da voll mit der Kamera draufgehalten wurde, sowas macht man nicht.

This can't be the 4th longest tram network in the world because it's LRT...
