- Wagle Ki Duniya (literally: 'Wagle's World') was a popular comedy sitcom on Indian television, aired for the first time in 1988 to 1990 on state-run Doordarshan channel. It was directed by Kundan Shah, and was based on characters created by noted cartoonist, R. K. Laxman, especially "the common man" about the issues of common middle-class Indian man.It starred Anjan Srivastav as a bumbling sales clerk in a multinational and Bharati Achrekar as his wife. The series was hit and made Anjan Srivastav a household name.

I love the simplicity of the earlier period but then, this bathroom queue scene makes me mad at the sheer stupidity ( not simplicity) ,of the hero, Wagle. Next time I really hope and pray that wagle will be so soooooo understanding even when his own neighbours make a queue for the chance to sleep with his wife, but wouldn't instead appreciate the disciplined approach of his neighbours and therefore be very happy!! 😂😅 Chutiya saala!! 😂😅

I use to watch this serial on doordarshan in the primetime, can't remember the day of the week with my parents & siblings. Reminds me of those golden days of life. We all use to laugh a lot & enjoy every episode. This one is a classic brilliant master piece 👌
It used to come on Wednesdays . There's one particular episode in which Sharukh Khan made an appearance.
Clean comedy and during those days people really cared about each other 😍😍😍😍😍😍 Mr. Balla was also a great colleague wish I had a colleague like him.

This serial was use to air on DD on every Monday 9 pm afterward English news was there...9:30 pm was a mid night for 90s kids..
my late father always had given me example of neigboring pintu that he always sleep before 9 pm and I had a bad habit to awake upto 9:30. On these days that Pintu's children are playing upto midnight on their android phone...my father is no more to see pintu's children's bad habit...
