This piece is about growing up and realizing we are all victims of
the patriarchy. As we learn to use our voices and stand up for ourselves, we miss the days when we were naive and oblivious to the oppressive structures of our world. No matter how angry we are or how frustrated we feel, the patriarchy still exists.
