YESSSSSSSS
YES
THAT WOULD BE EVERYTHING
Heaven would fall from the skies
I bet the accoustics were killer in that building. Enough to give you goose bumps.
I get goosebumps everything I hear this song.
The song does that well enough on it's own tbh
Wish I'd been there singing with them-😍🤩
i got goosebumps rn
Seriously!!
the way i INSTANTLY clicked when i saw this...
instant chills...
your music is amazing!
❤❤❤
Cacophony is rage, but so is this, this quiet, exhausted rage. Just beautiful.
Exhausted rage is the prefect descriptor
“It’s not an act of love if you make her” are words that I desperately needed. Succinct, poignant, powerful, gutting. To my fellow One out of Threes, I see you and I’m with you.
💚
what is one out of threes?
@@mehlanie13 It's referring to the fact that about 1/3 women experience sexual assault, I think x
1:27 the way goosebumps was gradually building all over my body from my face to my toes as the words progressed
Me too!
The chills when the choir kicks in ❤
2:35 aaa that last labour was beautiful, it was so crisp
This one is ESPECIALLY ethereal
She is flawless, her voice, her message and her composure, the true voice of our generation
So obsessed with the timbre & register of her voice 😫
You sound like an angel
What does an Angel sounds like? You would be dead😂
and look like one too
My favorite song for all the rage reasons every woman has ever felt. This was hauntingly beautiful.
I kicked my Husband out after 39 years of Marriage, I found him an apartment then he was pissed that I didn't set the apartment up & decorate it.
May i ask why did it not work out
Good for you!!
@NanDemoniya didn't she tell you in the comment
I had to laugh at this because it’s just funny how men are.
@@rachelwyatt6030funny like a Greek tragedy😭
its been over a year but i still get chills with this song
The way excitement builds in every version of this song no matter the version honestly speaks to how amazing it is
one of the most powerful and beautifully performed renditions of this song.
everytime i hear this song my eyes start to burn, i can immediately remember everytime I have felt this way - capillaries in my eyes are bursting
Cant stop listening to this the clarity of her voice is stunning
This song makes me bawl but feel empowered at the same time
No matter which version I hear I will forever get chills and this has given me the most intense set of chills yet
This song was always beautiful, but the chorus + cellist addition gives me chills. Amazing performance!

I stumbled across this song by accident and it just resonated too much. It's like a quite peaceful anthem but pissed. Yes I picked up my guitar and am trying to play it. I haven't been practicing much so thank you

Mesmerizing
Don't wanna be the party pooper here but why that camera work makes me feel like I'm on a boat on a very agitated sea? The song is beautiful, the interpretation is on point, the sound is crystal clear, the venue and the set are majestic, the lighting is ace, the colour grading is perfect. But boy, that camera balancing up and down left and right turns some shots Ito a crazy wobbly mess (mostly on close up shots - see sequence at 00:25 ). I'm not against handheld but that's a bit too extreme and I think it is not really matching such a high standard performance in a place such as the Tate. I want those vertical lines and columns to be respected a little more.
you DO want to be a party pooper, and you were one. Please learn from your error and do better next time
@@L1a7evenwe don’t share the same point of view, that’s fine. I wasn’t insulting anyone, which you can’t keep yourself from doing. Too bad people can’t take other’s point of view and remarks with throwing a tantrum. Bye now, sad little bird.
Is tate ........wt i am thinking it is?
@@WeyrdSonRecordsyou are unable to acknowledge your own negativity, typical for a man, missed the point by attempting to drag us into a tedious diatribe about your personal aesthetics, typical of a man, and subconsciously admitted your intent to poop the party in your first words, displaying cowardice and insecurity when confronted by a powerful, creative woman, also typical for a man. your decision to picture me as sad, and a creature you see as weak and vulnerable (but is actually capable of the flight you wish you could achieve) tells me all i need to know about you, as if i didn't know already. take your fragile male ego, frustrated artistic aspirations, and tiny, inadequate weeny to a dark corner and soothe yourself.
I will never not lose my shit to this song😢 this songs means so much to women ❤
Your soooooooo good I love your voice
This was so beautiful
Beautiful
I LOVE THIS❤
Love it!
Great accoustics!
Lyrics-
Why are you hanging on so tight
To the rope that I'm hanging from?
Off this island, this was an escape plan (this was an escape plan)
Carefully timed it, so let me go
And dive into the waves below
Who tends the orchards? Who fixes up the gables?
Emotional torture from the head of your high table
Who fetches the water from the rocky mountain spring?
And walk back down again to feel your words and their sharp sting
And I'm getting fucking tired
The capillaries in my eyes are bursting
If our love died, would that be the worst thing?
For somebody I thought was my saviour
You sure make me do a whole lot of labour
The calloused skin on my hands is cracking
If our love ended, would that be a bad thing?
And the silence haunts our bed chamber
You make me do too much labour
You make me do too much labour
Apologies from my tongue, and never yours
Busy lapping from flowing cup and stabbing with your fork
I know you're a smart man (I know you're a smart man), and weaponise
The false incompetence, it's dominance under a guise
If we had a daughter, I'd watch and could not save her
The emotional torture, from the head of your high table
She'd do what you taught her, she'd meet the same cruel fate
So now I've gotta run, so I can undo this mistake
At least I've gotta try
The capillaries in my eyes are bursting
If our love died, would that be the worst thing?
For somebody I thought was my saviour
You sure make me do a whole lot of labour
The calloused skin on my hands is cracking
If our love ends, would that be a bad thing?
And the silence haunts our bed chamber
You make me do too much labour
All day, every day, therapist, mother, maid
Nymph then a virgin, nurse then a servant
Just an appendage, live to attend him
So that he never lifts a finger
24∕7, baby machine
So he can live out his picket fence dreams
It's not an act of love if you make her
You make me do too much labour
All day, every day, therapist, mother, maid
Nymph then virgin, nurse and a servant
Just an appendage, live to attend him
So that he never lifts a finger
24∕7, baby machine
So he can live out his picket fence dreams
It's not an act of love if you make her
You make me do too much labour
The capillaries in my eyes (all day, every day)
Are bursting (therapist, mother, maid)
If our love died (nymph then virgin)
Would that be the worst thing? (Nurse then a servant)
For somebody (just an appendage)
I thought was my saviour (live to attend him)
You sure make me do (so that)
A whole lot of labour (he never lifts a finger)
The calloused skin on my hands (24∕7)
Is cracking (baby machine)
If our love ends (so he can live out)
Would that be a bad thing? (His picket fence dreams)
And the silence (it's not an act of love)
Haunts our bed chamber (if you make her)
You make me do too much labour
Im absolutely gutted that i cant get tickets to see you ! (Sold out) You are doing amazing! X
This song is genius
Fantastic! New subsciber here, and I smashed that notification bell. Liked and shared to the world.

Why does it sound so much better than the music video where they muted her voice so much ?
we play awesome music!
❤🔥
❤
beautiful s💟ng
never have I ever
Как же красиво. Слушаю Labour, кажется, в тысячный раз, но всегда чувствую эту древнюю злость поколений женщин позади меня, живших именно так, как поётся в песне.
💜🔥💜
In here thinking about how one of my 3 guy roommates went around a party telling people I never cleaned, when im the only one who does.
I bet she walked into the building, heard the acoustics, and then decided to film a her singing a song in there with three cellos and a few background singers.

Britta’s in this
She reminds me of Florence Welch
Very, very good song. Said as a MAN
I'd love to be able to buy this version on iTunes

Peace Love Cool RFS Israel *.
P.S. I WOULD DO ANYTHING FOR YOU JUST TO BE ABLE TO SIT AND LISTEN TO YOU TALK OR SING OR ANYTHING.... WHAT A BEAUTIFUL SOUL!l
This song always reminds me of Alicent in House of The Dragons
I’m already subscribed! I wasn’t able to reply to the main comment for it you were already subscribed for some reason lol
This version is beautiful! You should fire the camera guy though…that was super distracting.
Absolutely beautiful version, each new edition of Labour is like the different emotions felt and described in the song itself. Hurt, anger, frustration, desperation, disappointment, and everything in between. This song has a power that can't be explained ❤
You are so right, this song has haunted me for a year. Each one an exquisite sting.
