- I've casted quite a few of Florencio's Protoss games in StarCraft 2. This time around he's showing some of the strategies that he is working on with Terran. In this game he opens up with a Reaper Bunker rush, then transitions towards Battlecruisers and eventually leads to Mech and quadruple Nukes.

Heh... Yeah... Imagine... I actually have never played sc2, but have enjoyed watching lowko and winter for over a month now since they showed up in my yt recommendations. And I've only ever played brood war once. I stopped because it was fucking ugly.
What type of processor do I need in order to run SC2?
What I love about florencio is while he does crazy strategies, he spends a lot of time refining them and always has a follow up to the first cheese and then a follow up to the follow up cheese. He's a man with a plan
Bartix Madness and Genius is separated by a fine line. Florencio uses that line as a jump rope.

@@Fyrebrand18 I disagree. Florencio games seem to basically consist of him styling on people less skilled than him. Compare this to say, White-Ra, who does Florencio style tactics at the pro level and historically had significant success doing so (back in the Brood War and Wings of Liberty days).
@@LeviathanStormPrince And I disagree with you. While Florencio does play against diamond and even platinum players with his off-races, he routinely goes up against high-masters and even GM players with Protoss using similarly unique strategies.
@@LeviathanStormPrince Ranked games are often like this. Third of them against very tough opponents who are favored to win. Another third against opponents who would win if you make a mistake and another third is against people you are favored and quite often wonder what they are even doing at this rank with that level of skill.

Unironically, dark templar would have been unstoppable in this match.
He had missile turrets next to every planetary, so he'd need more than a few and he'd have to control them.

They were tower defense creep waves obviously. The Protoss was playing a campaign mission.

he isn't high enough on the ladder to win more than half his games (it matches you with opponents to get a 50-50 mix of wins versus losses until you are so good their aren't the players to do that).
If you want some Florencio losing, look up BeastyQT vs. Florencio (I think it was called Best of 69 because it was like 36 games or something... though the video only contains a few)

Everytime I see Lowko casting a Florencio's game i've got the impression of Florencio like this cheesy villain of the movies from the 90's, with plans to conquer/destroy/etc the world.

After these many years I'm convinced Florencio's opponents upon playing the DeadPool of Star Craft, all suffer sever turrets syndrome followed shortly by catatonia. For us viewers it is fantasticly entertaining and absolutely horrifying.

This is real fun and relaxing. Feel like Flo was just enjoying the fight with Bart and gave him many chances to reproduce and fought back. If Flo used Sewage Mermaid mode in this match, the guy would just burned his PC and lost faith in humanity.

I un-ironically didn't know about the all army hotkey until I watched a Lowko video. Every time he talks about the all army hotkey now I can't help but rage a little since my gameplay got a lot worse since he introduced me to it :(

Its called an F2A move for a reason. The predetermined all-army hoykey is F2, then the usual follow up is A, wich is move to attack anything. Basic bronze league stuff.
the difference in the cloak icons is that the ghost icon points downwards and the banshee icon points upwards

This reminded me this one Q&A from ages ago... when we were still waiting for Starcraft 2 - one of producers said they implemented systems that won't allows you to just make "pwn n00bs" games like in SC1. Yup.
Ahhh I remember those days. Just make a game and see who joins. No skill level taken into account or anything. I had an account that was 3,000 wins with only 10 losses lol. Just owning noobs all day... Good times.
Worst part is, Bart probably never tried attacking unmaxxed again after losing his army to those Thors, further compounding his problem
Florencio is the most cost-efficient SC2 player I've ever seen. How dare you criticize him? Orbital commands? Upgrades? Spending your resources? You just don't understand that he's ahead of the curve. That other stuff is for lesser players who are not Macro Kings :-D Hilarious!

I was wondering when he would toy around with nukes, it's about time!
I'm a simple guy. I see Florencio, I click, I like.
It was a superior player just playing with an experienced player. Its like playing your little brother on mario carts. Your so far ahead you turn around and let him pass you just to pass him again. He was so comfortable throughout the game, it was like he thought, what would be the coolest thing to send out first. Cleaning up with thors was so cool, even without upgrades he just pounded them with overwhelming firepower.
That's a great game - thanks for casting it Lowko - brilliant as usual!
I have to admit though - I got extremely frustrated for like half of the game, because I really wanted to know what was the Terran structure/unit on the left of the map and you didn't check there ONCE! I was literally screaming at my monitor telling you to scroll the map there for literally just 1s! Maybe it's just my OCD but that was really rough for me - it bothered me soooo much :P

His widow mine, BC cheese is awesome. I have seen him get the mines out just a tad faster a few times and have completely killed queens and stalkers hit squads that take the bait.

Water is, in fact, not wet. Water can not be wet. Everything that gets in touch with water, excluding hydrophobic materials, gets wet. Water can not wet itself. There, I totally had to do that. ^_^

The idea of putting a clump of mines infront of ghosts trying to nuke is actually kinda smart. I also like that he has such a check on the economy to know when to build units and keep building bank, it doesnt feel at all like a more inexperienced player floating resources rather someone that spends them when need arises. The only issue I see is the one Lowko put forward with uppgrades... he should try to attach some uppgrades to his unit compositions.
He should have just built a damn cc in the protos natural. 😂

@LowKoTV you should give Age of Empires a try. I doesn't start with an "Age of Farmers", but rather the Age of Stone, Bronze, Feudal, Castle etc. The mechanics of the game is exactly like Starcraft, and is one of the best real-time strategy games ever made. (release in 1997 and SC was release in 1998)

What the hell have I just watched. This man legitimately proxy barracks’d his way into a not even rushed battlecruiser rush on one base and somehow made it cost efficient.

Wondering why the protoss player spends his resources on stalkers instead of warp in void rays and phoenix which are better to combat battlecruiser?
Battlecruisers had yamato gun, doing the same number of void rays would be very bad, causa yamato would burn the voids
