Yup, for the most I recognize some of these early 2000's commercials... I like how after every commercial; Peebs is using the line from Shark Tank, when the "Sharks" don't a take deal with the inventor or something like that... 10:27 - 11:15 ---> I had a middle school teacher who wore those things... 15:28 ---> _"Get into it"_
Honestly when the Betty Crocker commercial came on, I forgot I was watching TH-cam for a second. Felt like I was a kid again, watching TV at my Grandma’s house.
My grandma ACTUALLY used an aqua globe! I always wondered what they were called but never asked. Although it was like 2012, so a while after it was made. Can't remember if it worked though...
I wanna cry tears of joy seeing whiskers the kitten unlocked such a deep memory for me omg I can't believe I forgot all about whiskers 😭😭 thank you for unlocking thus memory for me again!!
Just in case anyone forgot noodle in the 90s and early 2000s was a slang term for brain so get your noodle going was just a slang term for get your brain moving
I have no idea what it was supposed to be advertising, but that last commercial sure made me want to buy a kitten with the implanted brain and vocal chords of a small child.
God i miss these types of completely demented commercials. At least i would remember the product even if it was just because i saw it in my nightmares every night!
The Taco Bell ad was great. I loved those ads when I was in my 20's. I'm pretty meh on the rest though except for the infomercials. They were fun. I prefer late 80's and early 90's ads from when I was a kid. I'd take a 80's gum jingle over the gum ad in this video any day of the week.
Hey Peebs, if you’re confused on “Whiskers: The Kitten Who Can Name Fruit.” It was in fact a recurring segment on Cartoon Network’s Fridays. (It ran from 2003 to 2007 and was the replacement to Cartoon Cartoon Fridays.) Great video as always!!
i came here to say this still til this day, i have no idea why they did this segment anyways. it would just be 1 fruit in between certain commercial breaks especially during the prime time cartoon network hour
I was wondering why this seemed so familiar, that explains it. I must've repressed the memory of it because it was such a confusing and short-lived concept. Though the kitten is very adorable, just don't get the point of it either
I love how peanut butter used season 0 Yami as the picture for when they were talking about copying the Yu-Gi-Oh card. A season 0 Yami wouldn't sue, he would emotionally scar and kill.
Oh, man. So many things I remember but haven't thought about in years. The sumo Ritz, the pizza Ritz, the snowman skeleton, the Bake 'n' Fill pan, the really peeved stick figures dropping dollar signs into wastebaskets...
4:07 if I remember right they stopped because a Mexican advocacy group got offended by it saying it promoted stereotypes .... Bonus fact the Taco Bell dog isn't a standard Chihuahua it's three mix breeds they found at a shelter which is why he has unusually large ears
I want the Pokemon Gameboy things! Also, that Schlitterbahn ad gave me PTSD flashbacks to that story about the kid who died on the EXACT WATER SLIDE IT SHOWED.
Man, that Nestea snowman brought back some ancient memories for me. I always loved that commercial because I never considered the concept of a snowman's skeleton.
Holy cow, I've seen that Betty Crocker Bake n Fill commercial so much, it's a wonder I didn't ask my dad to buy it. I don't even know if he knew how to bake, now that I think about it. I think he did make homemade pizza on occasion. I should do that sometime, I miss that.
i rememeber seeing that cake pan all the time on the tv at my grandmas house and i always wanted her to buy it but she said it looked dumb and wouldn't work
These 2000's commercials are always super fun to make. Hope you guys like it!
Recognize any of these?? I recognized at LEAST half of them, personally.
The first one i remember from a random yt vid
I remember the People PC one
Yup, for the most I recognize some of these early 2000's commercials...

You were supposed to buy fruit.
@@potterinhe11 From a kitten?
@13:34 Holy Crap! Aqua Globes?? my mother STILL has those in her flowers downstairs!
Honestly when the Betty Crocker commercial came on, I forgot I was watching TH-cam for a second. Felt like I was a kid again, watching TV at my Grandma’s house.
I remember Aqua Globes, they didn't do well when you could find their off brand counterparts for 99¢.
The cat at the end said goodbye was cute
Yugi won’t waste time and money suing you. He’ll send you to the shadow realm.
Pegasus would though.
My grandma ACTUALLY used an aqua globe! I always wondered what they were called but never asked. Although it was like 2012, so a while after it was made. Can't remember if it worked though...
Oh my gosh. I remember the Betty Crocker cake fill pan! I also remember the Giant Cupcake kit, but isn’t a giant cupcake just a cake?
I wanna cry tears of joy seeing whiskers the kitten unlocked such a deep memory for me omg I can't believe I forgot all about whiskers 😭😭 thank you for unlocking thus memory for me again!!
The reason why they get rid of the Chihuahua in Taco Bell because it’s was offensive to Mexican people so they had to get rid of it
17:19 yo schlitterbahn fucking rocks I love that place I need to go again
Just in case anyone forgot noodle in the 90s and early 2000s was a slang term for brain so get your noodle going was just a slang term for get your brain moving
Man I don't like big companies, but I wish they'd at least try like they used to lol. Ads used to at least be fun
I have no idea what it was supposed to be advertising, but that last commercial sure made me want to buy a kitten with the implanted brain and vocal chords of a small child.
I remember the taco bell chihuahua had a line of toys as well. I had a stuffed chihuahua that, when squeezed, would say "yo quiero taco bell"
God i miss these types of completely demented commercials. At least i would remember the product even if it was just because i saw it in my nightmares every night!
Remember so many of these commercials. Growing up in the 2000s was a great time
Holy cow Green Peach's dress is so pretty.
I turn 30 in a few days. These are bringing back memories
"Now that I CAN'T have it, I want it!" God tier quote.
18:55 cute kitty!!
“Unique” he put emphasis on that too lol
2000's is Kind my Thing
20:20 apparently it's Quince, some tree growing fruit from China
I almost cried when I saw Whiskers. You have no idea how much I loved that kitten
They got rid of cereal straws for years, and the froot loop ones are amazing and unlike the cereal actually has a fruit flavor to them.
The Schlitterbahn one is so funny cuz he clearly doesn’t know a kid was decapitated at that park
Should've ended it with a final "and with that, I'm out."
Alternatively, PBG should say, “Dingleberries!” (referencing that cat one)
I think that Spaghettios commercial unlocked a memory.
oh hey, I had a Digi Draw!
it sucked!
The early 2000s ruled
6:14 Their going straight to the Shadow Realm
The Taco Bell ad was great. I loved those ads when I was in my 20's.

3:09 I don’t usually like Ritz….but these were sooo heccin’ good.
Scooby-Doo Character moment 16:19
13:04 It's so weird seeing something from my childhood specific to my area now talked about by a much wider audience

I miss when kids networks did odd stuff like that but now its gone
I was wondering why this seemed so familiar, that explains it. I must've repressed the memory of it because it was such a confusing and short-lived concept. Though the kitten is very adorable, just don't get the point of it either
@@LordPichuPalThe kitten is dead now. Hope this helps!
@@pr9334damn bro
Nothing in this world felt worse as a kid than a Razor scooter spinning and hitting you straight in the ankles/calves.
OMG that kitty is so adorable 🐈⬛
I love how peanut butter used season 0 Yami as the picture for when they were talking about copying the Yu-Gi-Oh card. A season 0 Yami wouldn't sue, he would emotionally scar and kill.
TH-cam decided to throw me some more peebs in my recommendations! I'm digging it!
Woo! :)
@Peebs and I get a heart and a reply from the man himself! What a day! :) love the content. I'm glad to see you back in the feed!
Koolaid man was labotimized
I remember a lot of these 2000's commercials
Oh, man. So many things I remember but haven't thought about in years. The sumo Ritz, the pizza Ritz, the snowman skeleton, the Bake 'n' Fill pan, the really peeved stick figures dropping dollar signs into wastebaskets...
Bumpits were in style where I grew up in Idaho until like 2010. It’s embarrassing af
"You've created an amazing ~AND UNIQUE~ work of art"
OH MY! Imagine the flack that commercial would get if it was aired today. XD
Commercials blatantly lie all the time though. Wouldn't they just blend into the crowd?
Oh jeez…
Yes! Do an infomercial episode or too
"Billy needs a shower" made me laugh so hard for no reason
Oh man that sunny d commercial unlocked a part of my memory I never knew I had
4:07 if I remember right they stopped because a Mexican advocacy group got offended by it saying it promoted stereotypes .... Bonus fact the Taco Bell dog isn't a standard Chihuahua it's three mix breeds they found at a shelter which is why he has unusually large ears
Yea
This video gets my noodle going.
the best commercial was the kitten that could name fruit because it's cute and didn't try to make me buy anything i don't need :)
I love peebs videos about old commercials
-Take a shot every time Peebs says, "And with that I'm out."-
I miss some of these things so much
The last ones my fave!
This video really got my noodle going
I want the Pokemon Gameboy things!
Also, that Schlitterbahn ad gave me PTSD flashbacks to that story about the kid who died on the EXACT WATER SLIDE IT SHOWED.
Omg my grandma had a ton of those aqua globes
Yes yes thank you!
we still have snapple bottles made of glass here in Canada
I remeber whiskers! We named a friend stay siamese that hung out in the backyard "grapefruit" due to that commercial
The old Fruit Gushers commercials, as a child I thought it would happen like that and I was scared of eating them.. lol
Bro, "EVEN BAKED ALASKA" is baked into my brain from childhood
"That cake was on FIRE!" lol and I fail to understand why.
I believe Whiskers was more of a small bumper on CN than a commercial. The cat would name only one fruit at a time per bumper iirc
2000s tv shows are great too
This cat is really impressive. He can name way more fruits than an usual cat.
Ahhh, this was a nice dopamine hit from a better time 😌😂
I felt my soul leaving my body during that kitten naming fruit commercial.
19:50 ....Magrathea?
-meanwhile, Zaphod Beeblebrox going insane in a corner somewhere-
the juicy fruit reminds me of that skit where the cpr dummies come to life and start screaming
aqua globes commercials live rent free in my brain
LMAO My mom owned a bumpit, it's honestly probably still lurking around the house somewhere
9:34 That is one clean transition, Peebs. Great job! 😁👍
Man, that Nestea snowman brought back some ancient memories for me. I always loved that commercial because I never considered the concept of a snowman's skeleton.
Peebs is slowly becoming chad from cursed commercials
I stopped watching him because he was screaming his lungs out so often for no reason. Peebs is much better than him in my opinion
🎶So things for Peebs weren't going well
He thought he'd read a good luck spell🎶...
it gets your noodle going
19:50 is "Bartlett Pear"! They're pretty good 😊
Holy cow, I've seen that Betty Crocker Bake n Fill commercial so much, it's a wonder I didn't ask my dad to buy it.
I don't even know if he knew how to bake, now that I think about it. I think he did make homemade pizza on occasion. I should do that sometime, I miss that.
Whenever there's a new upload on Peebs, it gets my noodle going...
i rememeber seeing that cake pan all the time on the tv at my grandmas house and i always wanted her to buy it but she said it looked dumb and wouldn't work
I love that Chef Boyardee commercial!
Yeah same. We covered it on a previous 2000's commercials.
I also remember seeing that Cereal Straw commercial.
Yeah, bumpits, I remember that too.
Ah, yes, aqua globes
I remember the Cheese O'saurus Rex commercials, but I also know that they made blue mac n' cheese at some point to advertise Blue's Clues.
I was literally watching one of the other 2000’s commercials videos this morning.
Thanks😊 I appreciate all your content on this channel!
I HAVE a chihuahua and I look at her and go "yo quiero taco bell". That shit drills into your brain.
The Betty crocker cake with gushers in it feels like a homestuck reference
The "trace any art" thing commercial is LITERALLY the way AI "artists" act these days lmao
Some say Whiskers is still naming fruit to this day
Sounds like whiskers was saying “bartlett pear”
I never had a Bump It but it was like the cool thing to do with your hair when I was in grade school. Only the most fashionable girls had them
you need something very strong
What do I need?
✨ WHITE PORCELAIN ✨
13:09
The disrespect towards whiskers the kitten who can name fruit was unreal
That last one wasn't a commercial it was a segment on Cartoon Cartoon Fridays on Cartoon Network.
That Yunaka reference though.
OMG! That internet comercial hit a memory spot!
16:40 was the greatest moment in cinema history
Oh my gawd. My mother used to buy the Betty Crocker set. Then again, can’t lie, they are a decent set for any new home owner.
