- This video is a ranking of the Mid-American Conference's fight songs. I always rank them from least favorite to most favorite. Keep in mind that this list is my opinion and mine only. Also, I DO NOT TAKE CREDIT FOR THE AUDIO AND IMAGES IN THE VIDEO. This video was made for entertainment purposes only.
The teams in the MAC are: Akron, Ball State, Bowling Green, Buffalo, Central Michigan, Eastern Michigan, Kent State, Miami, Northern Illinois, Ohio, Toledo, and Western Michigan

Can we all just appreciate that half the conference is in Ohio? Akron, Bowling Green, Kent State, Miami OH, Ohio, and Toledo. That’s 6/12.

The first time I heard the Ball State fight song was during March Madness back in the early 90s (I think) when they pulled an upset and I liked it.
Hard to rank without the bands and the various recording qualities, but all enjoyable. NIU, was waiting for the plate spinner act to come out , very nice tho. Partial to Miami and of course Forward Falcons. Nice collection, ty.
Wow, EMU actually had some fans in their stadium
The bowl game this year in Detroit had a lot of fans
@@drowjackson3512 You were there too? I went as a neutral fan but sat on the EMU side. That crowd was nuts, especially after the punch and the game winner. Crazy game all around, but the best one of the best games I've ever gone to.

How brave to put Ohio at 5. So many people swear by Stand up and Cheer, including my alma mater high school which used it
Sammy Rhoads I like stand up and cheer. I had to put it at 5 because western Kentucky uses it as well. And also I liked the other 4 a little bit better.
@@hydraFB western kentucky got it from Ohio. Stand up and Cheer was written for the 110 to play in 1967
@@gabriel_frenchstand up and cheer was actually the University of Kansas’ ORIGINAL fight song back in the early 1900s before they moved to Rock Chalk. I do believe the 110 just took it from then and then it spread far and wide from there

I actually visited Kent State this past July. Their football stadium and campus overall is honestly very nice

Jeffrey Harris I really couldn’t find a good recording of it. You can look up the main recording of it, it’s better, but low quality audio
It sounds like Cornell but they change like two or three notes

@@hydraFB I figured out what I thought it sounded like. I think it sounds like a mix of Tulane’s (the melody) and Minnesota’s (the harmony)

I really don’t have a favorite MAC fight song. I graduated from the University of Arkansas. Just a big college football fan.

I am probably going to have to do a top 25 list, or even top 15 because most fcs schools won't have a recording or the recording will be low quality. I am planning to do mountain west and independents first.

Who the hell ranked these? Ball State Fight Song is soooo much better than most of the newer schools that just resentful joined the MAC.
I ranked them. I didn't think that Ball State's song was good at the time of this video, I would rank them higher now.
