It's more than just AutoCAD -- the ability to create office documents quickly is also terrible on an iPad Pro because of the lack of pointer support, and only good for some Android tablets with (close to full) Microsoft Office support. Other problems that I have ran into with using mobile platforms (mostly from iPads) include the lack of support for some flash and java based applications and simulations, the lack of support for external storage devices and other USB based peripherals, poor or non-existent file management, and the lack of support for even simple x86 based applications.
Kelvin Miller you see I don’t really know what is the problem with pointer because I can work with a keyboard just fine on Microsoft word if you really need a pointer you can probably go for a keyboard with trackpad attached , file management ok for me, I can store documents and pdfs and music and videos just fine in the new file system in iOS 11. But if you really want something more advanced just get the Microsoft surface go. As you can see iOS or android will never replace a full blown OS ever, and it’s hard to compete with windows cause existed for so long and has a huge user base in comparison to android tabs and iPads. You will find what you need in surface go or surface pro product line up

The websites for sites like TH-cam are not at all good for touch input, either. If you want a tablet that is really a laptop in disguise, get the Surface Go, as long as you can deal with it being deficient when used as a tablet and the fact the hardware is very lacking. The reason you would buy the iPad Pro 10.5 is because there are a multitude of apps, Continuity between your iPad, iPhone and Mac is brilliant, and the hardware is simply unbelievable for the size. The only downfall of the iPad is it having no mouse input option, however that means that Apple has focused on it being used as a tablet, which is what it is, and for that, it is undoubtedly the best in class. I believe you made a mistake in the video Samsung doesn't have Exynos chips worldwide is because Samsung is restricted to a deal with Qualcomm so Exynos isn't allowed in the US.
im using a tab s4. not really into heavy work kind of thing but I love to watch youtube and netflix on my own. I also do some drawings and tattoo designs and this is perfect for me. I just wish some company or samsung would create some different design of keyboards so people actually have the keyboard they prefer rather than stuck up with this small keyboard
In the benchmark specs, you'll see battery marks, the GTS4 is designed for long lasting battery life, yeah they could have bumped up the CPU, added more ram, etc, and what? The specs are fine for pretty much any droid game or activity you'd expect droid//high end gear to process, it operates super cool, and it can be further (semi) docked with the samsung full sized HDMI otg w/full sized usb support (POWERED dongle by Samsung with just one full sized USB since the keyboard's already present-leaving a mouse for bluetooth peripheral plug(virt button) and play ready, empty USB slot can be fitted with a small hub/splitter as needed). The price is relative to the other "ultra mobile 2-1's" popping up this quarter, yet you get a quadcore cpu x's 2, which has a mobile birth to begin with, not some under powered "U" dual core that needs at least 8 gigs ram to make it actually not even entry level perform due to CPU heat limitations on that platform; it's equally light weight, and with the dex, we finally have actual notebook support/interfacing. The GTS4's not just about releasing the latest spec'd out device, it's to meet the demand for ultra ultra mobile devices, like the surface goesque niche market which MS, etc, etc, etc's hoping to help fill. The battery life is stellar, and it supports HTML out again, unlike the GTS3, which didn't, but merely had limited OTG support. Personally, I've got the GTS4 docked, with powered hub, etc,, and it's motoring along like a good micro PC, and not running hot, at all, even when hitting the nite hard yo... Pen is also free with the device, slashing about 100$ off the price when compared to relative devices, the dex-keyboard's on sale from the getgo for 74$, so it's a stellar deal for what you get. The 256 model's still not ssd, so you might as well save 100$, get the cheaper 64 and buy a card, since it's not wise to save too much "stuff" directly onboard anyways.. PS: sorry for my longwinded rant, etc, etc,... kk
This guy *ACTUALLY* knows what he's talking about. Finally someone responded to the absurd "y not 845, y not 6gb ram, y so low specs weeh weeh" complaints and made total sense while doing so. Thank you, because I don't have write it down myself. Too bad little to no one will read it :(
The Samsung Tab S4 is made for work. The S-Pen rocks you can made notes real easy even with your hand on the screen. Translate easy. Copy text from pictures and website and you can switch between Tablet and laptop mode. If you use it only for multimedia i go for a cheaper model. I drop my iPad and go to the S4.
Have you seen the size of the pen? The pen is as thick (if not thicker) than the tablet. Considering any dock you make for it would also require adding extra thickness and it just doesn't fit. I've just ordered an S4, and I'm currently using my Note 2014 which has a much smaller S-pen. It's too small for me to use with my big hands... so the bigger pen is a big plus. Most of the cases I've seen, and the one I've ordered, has a slot for the pen just underneath the tablet or off to one side. As the pen doesn't need to be charged, there really is no reason for a dock in the tablet.
You are always so objective...love your videos....btw you forgot to mention the 4 speakers and Dolby Athmos . Netflix supports that and I binge on Netflix. It has a headphone jack and expandable storage. Since I use my tablets mostly for entertainment I would get it. I mean you mentioned garage band on the iPad....I'm not musical so i uninstalled it on my iPad 6th gen and I'm not a video editor either so yeah I'm good with the Samsung as it is. Considering what you get in the box and that display and sound it's something I can use. I also have a Note 8 so I am familiar with that aspect of the tablet. I don't think it's meant for creators, it's more of an all rounder. Ultimately it all depends what you need it for. Another thing I'd like to mention....I don't usually keep these things longer than 2 years so it should be fine for me. I have a Samsung Tab S3 and it's still snappy. I love glass backs but you should know....my stuff looks like new....I'm also a case/cover collector lol Thumbs up I always follow your videos and i share.
I just bought this used and this a fantastic tablet. The build is solid, the performance is soo fast in fact it feels faster than my note 9, and the screen is jaw dropping. Dex is the most underated and my favorite feature.I already have a 2018 iPad and iPad pro I didn't want a third one. Do I recommend this tablet at full price? Hell no! Samsung did not know at all to price this. And for the fact that after pie that's it no more support. The price of 330 I got it for is justified but no way for 750.
autodesk sketch and samsung soundcamp. There are other art and sound apps and samsung used to support them natively with the note 3 and 4 - also art canvas came with note 4
Tab S4 is coming today will be my first tablet so I am looking forward to it. I've seen artists reviews it's capable for editing and the AMOLED panel is amazing especially on my Note 9. Expandable storage which the iPad doesn't have.
You're missing the whole point with Dex though; Dex integrates your Android phone into a Desktop environment so you still receive all your calls, WhatsApp, Snapchats etc whilst you're working on the Desktop. That's an awesome improvement over having separate machines for work and play, meaning I actually just plug my Note9 into a Dex station at home and I get to decide which apps are on the desktop and which are running on the phone as the two screens operate independently but together, like an extended windows desktop. Infact I was so impressed at how good Dex+Note9 is though that I bought this tablet to use GDrive Apps full screen whilst on the move, as the Note9 screen is too small to use effectively, but the combination of pen input when, for example making comments on PDF files, is just awesome. I am so impressed with this tablet - in Dex mode - and use it entirely for work.....not a single Netflix yet! Now I'm not a graphic designer, so don't use Photoshop etc, but for MS and Google Office stuff, and email etc this is just an amazing tab, and I swore I would never use tabs again after my last experience with an older Samsung tab (which was a dog)..
Having owned a lot of iPads over the years and the first generation iPad Pro I decided to go for something different this year and went for the Tab s4 and I love it I actually work in the mobile industry and find the Samsung tablet more versatile and useful than I ever found my Ipads tbh after a while I would usually end up stop using them and using my phone instead but this hasn’t been the case with the tab S4 I’m really happy with it
I have the Tab 4S, and I LOVE it! The processor is lightning fast. I discover new things about it all the time. I'm not a techie by any means. I'm a solid fan of all Samsung products. Apple products are sh*t.
I do not think you touched on this but is it possible to add a version of Windows to this and if so if it only has 4gb of RAM will that be useless to attempt in terms of being useful? This was an informative video. Thank you.
Microsoft Windows isn't available for this tablet. It's a totally different concept and believe me, you wouldn't be happy with Windows next to this tablet. Window is wasteful, and demands too much overhead.
Maybe I’m missing something, because iMovie is bare bones compared to the Android version of Kinemaster Kinemaster on the iPad sucks. I can’t do half the stuff In iMovie I can in Kinemaster... mind telling me what I’m missing?
Abhinav Regmi Did you read what typed? I use Kinemaster on my Samsung Galaxy s8, and can’t figure out out how to do half what I do there vs iMovie on my iPad Pro. I have a Android Tablet, a Asus Zenpad z10 which is good, but the hardware on the iPad blows it away.
LumaFusion is way better than Kinemaster. I wrote that in my own opinion; I’d like to start a discussion. It’s just that you have to pay a price for it (not that hefty though).
Can I ask what are your thoughts on the tab 5e? Does Dex and the keyboard work on it? I will mainly be using it for just media streaming, web browsing and some basic powerpoint/word work. Thanks!
Hey bro nice review didn't hear anything about the Dolby Atmos quad speakers tuned by akg though. To me that a great selling point. Can't wait to see what apple does for there new tablet
Samsung Galaxy Tab S4 is the best option for me. I do digital art and can't spend much money at the moment. The IPad Pro is too expensive (after adding the Apple Pencil), and the Surface Go would also be too expensive (after choosing the $550 model getting the surface pen and the keyboard.
I used to draw all the time but lost the time to do it. Now I can draw and take notes wherever I want. I finally got back into drawing. Penup is a great stock app for creating art and sharing it with other users.
I rather pick S4 because I am use to it with Note line and S-pen so thats my first reason and of course I love to look in my opinon the best display of all. I am a fan user of SAMSUNG ! NOTE 8 is my choice at the moment and I have a wish to buy S4. Good presentation ! Thumb up !
It actually looks really cool. I kinda wish something like this would catch on more to motivate Apple to do something different and become better for once. So tired of Apple.
I have an older iPad and wanted to upgrade, but was disappointed with what I cant do with ios. I purchased a TAB S4 and I look forward to getting into it. Also, slow down when you speak. Some of this was hard to understand when you are in such a hurry.
fuch·sia ˈfyo͞oSHə/ noun 1. a shrub with pendulous tubular flowers that are typically of two contrasting colors. They are native to America and New Zealand and are commonly grown as ornamentals. 2. a vivid purplish-red color like that of the sepals of a typical fuchsia flower.
I got the Tab S4 but it's only because Samsung didn't come down on Tab S3 price and with my military discount it was $490 which made it much cheaper than the competition.
Interesting review. There are a few incorrect statements though. Google is still working on tablets. Also, there are suites that allow you to get things done (even in the photo area).
Sounds to me that Samsun went about it half-heartedly. To me the good was offset by the bad and made it the least attractive device. From some of the side comments you made about the new OS google are working on, I am inclined to use my iOS devices for a little while longer and then wait for your review on it when it hits the market. I have the feeling, though, that Apple, too, are working on a more integrated operating system that would serve both, smartphones and their OS devices. Some of them already have comparable power, so a merger might make sense. Thanks for your review, as always really helpful.
I had iPad tablets since the iPad 2 and now I have a Galaxy Tab S2, and i must say something, Android is far better for Office Productivity than iOS. With Android you can sync documents in the cloud like in a computer, with Android you can use shortcuts for documents, and with Android you can use external storage devices and keyboards and mouse. I loved my ipads, I want one again, but I’m very happy with the things that I can do on Android that I can’t do with the iPad.
I have the 12.9 ipad pro and i was dissapointed that it was not enough of a replacement for my laptop. Got the surface pro today and i am sending it back since the windows update broke it, plus it overheats and is slow. Getting the tab s4 tomorrow. Hope it is the winner.
I would be interested in the Tab S4 but the fact the apps are not optimized for a tablet is the main reason I stick to Apple for tablets the second being updates. For phones though, I'm definitely all Android.

Too bad little to no one will read it :(
LOL, we get paid to do rants such as these on bestbuy now!,,, thanks for the feedback,,, have a good week,,, kk
The Samsung Tab S4 is made for work. The S-Pen rocks you can made notes real easy even with your hand on the screen. Translate easy. Copy text from pictures and website and you can switch between Tablet and laptop mode. If you use it only for multimedia i go for a cheaper model. I drop my iPad and go to the S4.
great this S4 is beautiful
Salut Daniel. Ce laptop pt gaming recomanzi?
Samsung definitely should put the s pen inside the device with the tab 5
The stylus already goes with Tab S4 from the box
It Dolby Atmos unit Athmos
Can I have your pug Jennifer?
I just bought this used and this a fantastic tablet. The build is solid, the performance is soo fast in fact it feels faster than my note 9, and the screen is jaw dropping. Dex is the most underated and my favorite feature.I already have a 2018 iPad and iPad pro I didn't want a third one.
Do I recommend this tablet at full price? Hell no! Samsung did not know at all to price this. And for the fact that after pie that's it no more support. The price of 330 I got it for is justified but no way for 750.
Really good video! Thanks
I will only accept a glass back if it has wireless charging, if not I choose an aluminum back way more
Daytona200 me too
JeffTech?
Wireless charging on a 10.5 inches device ? Really ?!
autodesk sketch and samsung soundcamp. There are other art and sound apps and samsung used to support them natively with the note 3 and 4 - also art canvas came with note 4
Denver Naicker I remember the soundcamp app on my old Note 3.
Tab S4 is coming today will be my first tablet so I am looking forward to it. I've seen artists reviews it's capable for editing and the AMOLED panel is amazing especially on my Note 9. Expandable storage which the iPad doesn't have.
I grabbed some popcorn! Is that okay?
Lol NP
Lol just don't drop it (again)🤣
Thnx 4 this honest reviews, today U hv made a useful video 4 me thnx
Thanks for the video. Very useful.
I am more a fan of Apple but it was very intuitive. Thanks again zoneoftech
Excellent review, thanks!
Yes they are productivity pod in Android but they're produced by Samsung and of these you've said are available on the galaxy store.
Having owned a lot of iPads over the years and the first generation iPad Pro I decided to go for something different this year and went for the Tab s4 and I love it I actually work in the mobile industry and find the Samsung tablet more versatile and useful than I ever found my Ipads tbh after a while I would usually end up stop using them and using my phone instead but this hasn’t been the case with the tab S4 I’m really happy with it
i dont really Care about what The tablet is made of as Long as its not plastic BECAUSE I dont drop my stuff
And then your stuff drops 😂😂
I have the Tab 4S, and I LOVE it! The processor is lightning fast. I discover new things about it all the time. I'm not a techie by any means. I'm a solid fan of all Samsung products. Apple products are sh*t.
Can't wait to see the review on the Tab S4.
Finally somebody who takes into considerations applications ecosystem vs HW specs comparison as decision driver for meaningful choice
Thank so much for taking the time to make this video
Maybe I’m missing something, because iMovie is bare bones compared to the Android version of Kinemaster
Kinemaster on the iPad sucks. I can’t do half the stuff In iMovie I can in Kinemaster... mind telling me what I’m missing?
Forsaken Fenix your missing android world and this tab lol😂😂😂
Abhinav Regmi
Did you read what typed?
I use Kinemaster on my Samsung Galaxy s8, and can’t figure out out how to do half what I do there vs iMovie on my iPad Pro.
I have a Android Tablet, a Asus Zenpad z10 which is good, but the hardware on the iPad blows it away.
LumaFusion is way better than Kinemaster. I wrote that in my own opinion; I’d like to start a discussion. It’s just that you have to pay a price for it (not that hefty though).
Abhinav Regmi...
Forsaken Fenix there are way more apps on ios then android
I'm going on the ipad pro
What do you buy now for ipad pro 10.5 or wait for what came out?
Itay, neither you go with a Samsung Chromebook Pro and get a lot better and more secure.
Itay Lankri i think you should wait for the new pros if you are looking for an iPad
does it have palm rejection? That's the only thing I need to know to decide to buy s4 or ipad pro.
Qishi Li it probably has because it has a stylus
I would like to see an in-depth review on the Tab S4!!
Me to
At least we android users still have an headphone jack
I got it... just 3 days a go. I ❤ Galaxy Tab S4
Nice video!
BTW, could you provide that iPad Pro wallpaper in the video for me, it’s awesome!
You're getting on my nerves whenever you say "grab some..."
You're doing on purpose, don't you?
Finally
16.10 screen
Now i can replace my Samsung tab s 1 lol
Can I ask what are your thoughts on the tab 5e? Does Dex and the keyboard work on it? I will mainly be using it for just media streaming, web browsing and some basic powerpoint/word work. Thanks!
I use the Samsung Galaxy Book; it runs windows 10, comes with keyboard and pen. so far I'm quite happy with it.
I love watching your videos!! You just got a new sub!! Keep up the good work.
Hey bro nice review didn't hear anything about the Dolby Atmos quad speakers tuned by akg though. To me that a great selling point. Can't wait to see what apple does for there new tablet
great review video 👍👍👍
Samsung Galaxy Tab S4 is the best option for me. I do digital art and can't spend much money at the moment. The IPad Pro is too expensive (after adding the Apple Pencil), and the Surface Go would also be too expensive (after choosing the $550 model getting the surface pen and the keyboard.
I used to draw all the time but lost the time to do it. Now I can draw and take notes wherever I want. I finally got back into drawing. Penup is a great stock app for creating art and sharing it with other users.
Good Review Thank you.
one thing no one knows:
the reason to use snap 835 in Q3 2018 instead of 845?
This tablet it BADASS! From a Media standpoint.... You can't do $HIT on apple products.
Loving the colours in your studio bro. And the review ...👌🏾.
Yes please do a full unboxing and thorough review/evaluation 👍
I rather pick S4 because I am use to it with Note line and S-pen so thats my first reason and of course I love to look in my opinon the best display of all. I am a fan user of SAMSUNG ! NOTE 8 is my choice at the moment and I have a wish to buy S4. Good presentation ! Thumb up !
It actually looks really cool. I kinda wish something like this would catch on more to motivate Apple to do something different and become better for once. So tired of Apple.
really expensive, the only reason I could have been interested was wacom emr but what I really want is a surface Book or Go with emr technology.
we prefer some snacks not whatever we want to grab. your shirt and your background is awesome
How you can unlock a bank app or for example paypal with the lack of fingerprint? The iris work with that’s apps?
SO i want this for just streaming movies from VUDU and Netflix with AT&T for traveling is this worth buying ?
I have an older iPad and wanted to upgrade, but was disappointed with what I cant do with ios. I purchased a TAB S4 and I look forward to getting into it.
Also, slow down when you speak. Some of this was hard to understand when you are in such a hurry.
Can you please make a review on the Surface Pro 4..

a shrub with pendulous tubular flowers that are typically of two contrasting colors. They are native to America and New Zealand and are commonly grown as ornamentals.
2.
a vivid purplish-red color like that of the sepals of a typical fuchsia flower.
IPad Pro for me. I do wish you could get mouse support but it’s not a deal breaker
I prefer the glass back so i can put a dbrand carbonfiber skin on it
Yes! I want you to do a full in-depth review on it.
Nice video 😊
Time to buy this new samsung s4 tab to replace this 2014 samssung tab 4 years of service not bad for Samsung and still working).
Hey where'd you get that info about the tab s4 camera?
this dude rambles and talks too fast with not much I DID NOT KNOW..12? what!?
I had iPad tablets since the iPad 2 and now I have a Galaxy Tab S2, and i must say something, Android is far better for Office Productivity than iOS. With Android you can sync documents in the cloud like in a computer, with Android you can use shortcuts for documents, and with Android you can use external storage devices and keyboards and mouse. I loved my ipads, I want one again, but I’m very happy with the things that I can do on Android that I can’t do with the iPad.
Could you do a comparison between iPad Pro and Microsoft surface pro 2018
Just got a tab s4 and love it!
Cool cool cool !!!!!!.
I am still using Galaxy Tab S 8.4, and it is the best. I can't wait to try Tab s4.
thin bezels on a tablet is a horrible idea
The only thing that holding me back from buying this product is the software update and apps.
Hi, Am from india, please tell me which tablet is best. Ipad pro 10.5 vs tab S 4.
Does Ottobox make durable, drop proof tablet cases for this particular tab?
Good explanation, but it would be better if you had one in front of you for demo purposes.
They’re still trying to make tablets even after google confirmed they wouldn’t be supporting android for tablets anymore?
I have the 12.9 ipad pro and i was dissapointed that it was not enough of a replacement for my laptop. Got the surface pro today and i am sending it back since the windows update broke it, plus it overheats and is slow. Getting the tab s4 tomorrow. Hope it is the winner.
So, what did you think of it? Was it the winner?
I would be interested in the Tab S4 but the fact the apps are not optimized for a tablet is the main reason I stick to Apple for tablets the second being updates. For phones though, I'm definitely all Android.
All I hear is a lot of computer nerd talk I WANT FACTS, NOT NUMBERS
I love my Note 9 S Pen for writing. One of the main reason I'm buying the Tab S4 instead of another Tablet is that I will write on it.
