    Thanks, and to calculate the amount of strings , we have to weigh the square ex. If the square is 10 gr. And we need 130 squares , so 130*10=1300gr. So we need 13 woollen balls of 100gr.🌸🌸

      @gretan4439 2 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Your comment literally just saved me, I was about to order 20 balls of 100gr, because I never realised that you could actually calculate the amount you need, even though it’s so easy to do. I don’t know why I never thought of that hahaha Thank you

    Hi Jayda, great tutorial! thank you for the quick reply on how many squares make a blanket, and this tutuorial really helps.
    Since I am a beginner crochett (two months ha!) I started making granny squares from your tutorial and after making quit a few squares and gaining confidence, I started wondering on the what I was making and how to put it together. With this new confidence I started a pattern of squares and placed them on a table to see how I wanted the pattern to look. I know it will take a few weeks to complete or more but once done I will share!
    thanks again! I love your tutorials!

When I got them I could not believe how big it was so I when I went to see it was 744 YARDS! I was star struck it was meant to only for a couple of granny squares for my blanket. I am actually happy so I can make a some more projects. I just don’t know what to do. I might make two granny square blankets but I am happy that you can help!

    Jayda I absolutely looooove your tutorials. I love that you explain everything so clearly & concise to easy understanding & of course I enjoy your bubbly personality. I'm currently working on a star stitch crochet baby blanket for my granddaughter. Now, my daughter and I would like to add a lovely soft minky back lining and binding to the blanket as a finishing touch. Now my question is....."What would be the best approach to do this?" We want a clean finished stitch, but we are skeptical of it gathering if I sew it with my sewing machine. Would it be better if I just hand sew it?? Could you please please please do a helpful tutorial on how to do this? Please???? I've searched TH-cam, and couldn't find a single tutorial for this yet.

      +HPfangurl Blankets are such wonderful projects! If you're going to start with a basic square-build blanket like the granny squares, I have two tutorials up for those - the traditional Granny Square and the Mitred Granny Square! You can find them both on my channel homepage (just click on my name) Happy Crafting!

    Hey Jayda. I love your videos! Do you have a tutorial on using different size granny squares together to make a blanket? I would love to make a blanket using big squares surrounded by smaller squares but don't know how to determine the sizes to make them fit together and look right. Thanks.
