    Glad to see you used the same line as where the Allis Chalmers 440 comes from. Now i know i can make one following your guidelines. Thanks a million for this video. Very cool conversion work you have done!

    This is art. I don't care what anyone says! The amount of skill this takes is insane! Ever thought of making a pull behind scraper?

      Might do a box blade of some kind yet. So many ideas, so many projects and no where enough time. 😫

    WOW! Dude, 20yrs ago handbuilt that Disc? You normally do real nice work but all of this is unbelievable, that coming from a fellow builder for what its worth. Didnt look for any other vids on the internals of the tractor, if you havent, will You? Fitting the radio, battery, esc(s), with motor and transfer case must have been tight. Soil compactor is awesome the way it contours several ways. I need a track groomer for a small 75X75 ft track. Thinking of a tiller type to churn up the surface, grade and roll all on the same implement. Vs a leaf rake and roller. Might be more fun than actually racing, lol.
    Again, excellent work!

    I have a big John Deere 4320 with a cab in my toy cabinet that I want to do this too but have no idea where to start

      @ICrailroadprod.2007 Sadly, the 2wd smaller tractors don't allow much room for modifications.

    Really nice conversion, whats the total weight with electronics, battery and everything in it?

    Can I ask how you modified the wheels. Is it two rims bolted together or have you made up extra bits that bridges the two rims?

    • @dennybobsrcconstructionagc2796
      @dennybobsrcconstructionagc2796  2 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      2 wheels bolted together. Cut the center of the outside wheel except for the outer bolt holes. Used 2/56 threaded rod to attach the outer rim to the inner. Used 1 75" OD steel tubing for the spacer between. Hopefully that all makes sense.

    Would be interested to know how the ram on the disc is actuated off the tractor remote couplings - it's surely not oil going thru a tube that small ?

    • @dennybobsrcconstructionagc2796
      @dennybobsrcconstructionagc2796  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      It is an electric Actuonix linear actuator.

    • @jamesbarbour8400

      @@dennybobsrcconstructionagc2796 ok thank you for that. Didn't know that such a thing existed.

    • @dennybobsrcconstructionagc2796
      @dennybobsrcconstructionagc2796  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @@jamesbarbour8400 yes Actuonix makes them in 3-wire, so they act like a servo as well as a 2-wire that requires an ESC to operate them. There are also some cheap Chinese knock offs as well, but you get what you pay for in quality.
